Camping and Fishing Advice

Okay guys and girls, I need some advice regarding camping and fishing.

I am finishing uni in November, then heading off to Noosa North Shore for a week long camping holiday. This will be the first time I have camped since I was 18, and that was a Contiki trip around Europe. Outside of the general basics (tent, sleeping bag, fishing rod, beer...), what should I bring for a camping and fishing trip that I might not think about until I get there?

First aid kit.
Stubby cooler
Bottle opener (esp if you’re not buying the beers or sharing others)
Hydralites, plenty of it.

Matches or a lighter but please don't start a bush fire. A torch and back up food for when the fish are not biting.

Knife, torch ( re-chargeable 10 bajillion lumens headlamp even better. $25 ebay ), cable ties ( you might encounter English tourists ), enough spare fishing bits and pieces, good insect repellent.

One of those gas cookers that work off the disposable cannisters. These are great & cheap
A headlamp led torch - from anywhere you get fishing supplies
Fold out table and chairs
Camp chairs

Got to be positive - being on the wrong side of the Tweed River these days helps. I was initially looking around Iluka and Yamba, but I don’t want to spend 14 days in quarantine on my return...

Just being able to get out on a beach to be able to do the pippie shuffle would be great. Love going to Iluka, haven't been for a long while though.

Reading through the Qld fisheries website, you don't need a licence. But I'm happy to be proven wrong and grab a licence if need be.

Yep , just read up on that myself, no licence required but in certain stocked impoundments you need a permit.
Interesting seeing some of the size limits difference on fish compared to NSW.

fish limits is not something that I've ever had to worry about
