for some eels fans...others actually care about him.

Its alright to care about him, but wouldnt your main interest be whether or not hes staying at our club.

little from column a little from b.

some of us knew about this kid when he was around 16 years old and were waiting to see what he could do in firsts, much like mateo, hayne, inu, tonga, lyon, etc....

in some wierd way i guess some of us feel a connection having watched our freakish players come through the system and prefer to know that they are doing alright. probably even more of a connection to those that regularly socialise with the players.

i actually felt some relief reading about barney haslett last year knowing he was ok after hearing a couple of years ago the bloke burnt out because of the weight of expectation put on him at such an early age. actually he's a gold coast product. i wonder if the media will try to link him to the titans......

Sorry, I know I am not the Best Grammatically on this site, but surely bi-polar is described as someone "IS" bipolar and not "HAS" Bipolar.

It's not like something you can "Fix" or get rid of. Tim will have this all his life. It is how his mind works. There are drugs to help level him out to what some of you would call normal, but he will still be affected by it.

It is also not something one "Get" Normally Bi-Polar, it happens to them in Late Adolescence or Early Adulthood.

Bipolar has been around for ever and is also called Manic Depression. Which sees people moods Cycle from Manic, to Depression every 3 - 6 Months. If Tim Drinks to get out of his depression he could Rapid Cycle to a Manic Mood which is of course a problem.

The Decease is not managed well in this country. Having said that, Manic Depressives can lead normal lives. Mood Stabilisers are available and if Tim has been diagnosed with such in the Re-hab centre, he will most certainly have a prescription for Lithium( Mood Stabiliser) and Olanzapine (Anti-Depressant) or the like. If Tim takes these drugs, he should be able to return to a full and happy life. If he is indeed Bipolar as was suggested by Denis Fitzgerald at the AGM.

Now if he is an Alcoholic. Well then as was discussed in the recent YouTube Video Posted by Belly, he can not drink because he is addicted to alcohol.
