Can Brisbane be seriously stopped in 2012?!

Getting into work this morning and chatting to some of my colleagues, apparently not.

Yeah but they're only second because they always play on friday night and have a 7 day turnaround.

They've grown accustomed to the 7 day turn around and its giving them a distinct advantage over the competition.

he/she has a point

It is a point, but that's it. It's the way the draw was made up isn't it? Has nothing to do with anyone else?

Surely it'll spin around later in the season and the Broncos will probably end up playing a few Monday -> Friday games.

Still not impressed with the Broncos I honestly cannot see them winning a premiership.... I see Souths as a more complete package and that saying ALOT!!

Yeah, I'm sure that being a well drilled team with youngsters full of talent has nothing to do with it.
And let's ignore the fact that the Broncos travel at least twice the amount of times and do at least 4 times the mileage of NSW teams, because that doesn't make any impact at all.
But above all, how could anyone forget the major influence of La Nina on Friday nights, disorienting Brisbane's opposition!

qft :p

Seriously tho the Broncos form hasnt been that consistent and their Spine isnt as great as you are making it out to be... Your front row rotation is decent but hardly the best in the league.....

Beat me to it..
Remember 2006.Cows & Knights were a long way in front of the other teams after 6 rds..both playing brilliant footy..people thought that they were certanties to go a long way into the finals.
Cows missed the 8 ,Knights were gone 1st week of finals..

The flight that lasts just over an hour to Sydney must really take it out of them.

With all due respect to the Raiders i don't think they're the yardstick in the competition this year. Have been belted by injury yet again. While they look the goods i would still like to see them play the Storm, Manly and the Sharks before making a final judgement. Also as someone else said...premierships aren't won in april - just ask St George who were something like 10 and 1 last year at the end of April.
