So it's ok for Black people to have whiteface but not cool for White people to have Blackface? Double standards.
Did black people mock and lampoon white people with whiteface for hundreds of years whilst forcing them into slavery and selling them like cattle? Beating and killing them on a whim?

Yeah, nah. You have very small brains, you "double standards" brigade people. Context is everything, and there are very good reasons why white people shouldn't say the N word, why white people shouldn't wear blackface, etc... and it has to do with a little thing called history. You're what's known as a post-racism point of view, and that would be fine except for the fact that racism is still absolutely rampant, and ignoring that it exists is, in itself, enabling racism.

I think black face is fine as long as it's dressing up as an individual. If you want to dress as Hitler for Halloween or whatever, you slick you're hair and wear a shitty mustache, maybe throw on the suit. You want to cosplay an orc you chuck on some green skin and tusks or whatever. If a white kid goes to a school presentation kitted out like Martin Luther King, then fine. Trying to look like a person shouldn't be seen as bad, we don't complain about fake scars and hook hands and peg legs and mustaches and shitty hair, so why complain about black skin?

That said, it obviously shouldn't be boot polish black, because no one looks like that, and you shouldn't be dressing as Blacky Mcgeneric Darkson. Don't dress as a stereotype, because the stereotype IS offensive.

To answer the original question....yes it can.

Offensive humour is often the funniest.
And as a white male in his mid-30's it's rarely aimed at me so laugh on, I say.
