After the Broncos game it is clear that the team is underperforming for long stretches. Obviously the team is yet to peak, which is good.
The important point is that the team can win against good teams without superstar SBW.
The 2014 Grand Final victory is a foregone conclusion for the Roosters. The only question left for 2014 is who will play against the Roosters in the Grand Final.
The really big unanswered question is whether the Sydney Roosters can win the Grand Final in 2015. There will be no SBW. However the team is young, and players like RTS, Cords, Napa, Evans, Tupou and Moga can only get better.
I think that if RTS, Pearce, Maloney, JWH, and Cords stay fit, the Roosters can win three in a row.
That has not been done since the St. George club of the 1950s and 1960s, when there was no salary cap. Three GFs in a row will make the Sydney Roosters club a legend in its own lifetime.
