Draw for 2024 Ontario Men's draw has been released, with a new club, Tavistock, joining Brampton Beavers, Toronto City Saints and Brampton Beavers.


The Ontario Ospreys remain the only Women's club in Ontario. The Ospreys have confirmed matches against the Midwest Rogue Runners (April 20) and Cleveland Outlaws. The club will also play in the Canada National Championship (June 28 - 30).

In British Colombia, the BCRL has confirmed 5 men's clubs and 2 women's clubs for the 2024 season. In the Men's there was the Vancouver Dragons, Vancouver Valley Vipers, Whistler Wolves, Point Grey Thunder and Valley Warriors. In the Women's there is the Valley Warriors and Vancouver Dragons.

The annual British Colombia 9s will take place at South Surry Athletic Park on May 25.

Valley Warriors will be hosting the event.

British Colombia has released the Men's draw for 2024

Tavistock Trashpandas make it two from two, defeating last year's Ontario Champions, the Brantford Broncos 24 - 18.

Brampton Beavers have defeated the Toronto City Saints 22 - 16.

Trashpandas are the only undefeated team in the competition after two rounds.

Ontario Ospreys have defeated the Midwest Rogue Runners 30 - 22 in a tight game at York University in Toronto.

Game was 24 - 22 till around 5 minutes to go when the Ospreys extended their lead to 8.

Definitely an impressive first up performance by the Rogue Runners, considering Ontario would be the strongest Women's RL club in North America.

Tavistock Trashpandas have finished as Minor Premiers in their first season in the Ontario Rugby League, following a convincing 64 - 6 win over the Brampton Beavers.

Still trying to find the result between the Toronto City Saints and Brantford Broncos.

Brantford Broncos defeated the Toronto City Saints 36 - 16.

Not sure what the score was between the Trashpandas & Saints, but in the other Final, the Brampton Beavers defeated the Brantford Broncs 28 - 26.

The Beavers and Trashpanda will play in the Grand Final this weekend.

Didn't realise there was also a Bronze Medal match last weekend between the Brantford Broncos and Toronto City Saints. The Broncos won 50 - 8, with the Saints going through the season winless.

In other Canada news, the Brantford Broncos has announced it will have a Masters Team this year, which appears to bring the number of Masters teams in the area to 3 (Ontario Greybeards, Oshawa Vikings Old Boys). The Greybeards and Old Boys will play this weekend at Lamport Stadium.

The Canada Masters team is also set to tour Ireland & Wales later this year.

Draw for British Colombia Nines that takes place on Saturday

Whistler Wolves have won the 2024 British Colombia Nines, defeating the Surrey Dragons in the Final.

Whistler Wolves and Rugby League British Colombia are launching a new High School training program geared towards 15 - 18 year olds this year.

Program starts May 30 at Whistler Secondary School and will run for the next term at least.
