Actually when was the last time a team one the comp and then came last....This season could be it. Lighting doesnt strike twice.
As long as my arsehole points to the ground the 2005 premiers will not be the 2006 spooners.

Its too cold in Canberra for them to go too bad. They were decimated last season and only really gave up with 2 or 3 rounds to go.

Their top 17 is a decent footy team, capable of finishing in the top 8 and winning 75% of their games at home. If Smith can play 20 games they won't finish last. I think they will finish ahead of the Warriors, Souths, Cronulla and possible a few more.

completely agree.

depends who you ask
In my opinion

1. Schifcofske 2. Chalk 3. Ale 4. Frawley (hopefully no injuries) 5. Graham 6. Smith 7. Carney 8. Miller 9. Woolford 10. Thompson 11. Lomu 12. Hodgson 13. Croker

14. Withers 15. Tongue 16. Weyman 17. Tilse/Learoyd-Lars

That's an interesting side. Some speed out wide with Chalk and Graham..Ale looks a promising player for mine, former Rooster, big fella. Frawley...meh. Schif is a solid player, good goalkicker. Smith was very good in the halves last year, was expecting nothing of him. Carney looks to have a bit of talent, interesting young halfback, well worth having a go with. A couple of good starting props, Miller showed when he played against us last year that he is a real hard worker, Thompson can be a real impact player when he winds up. Woolford is a bit of a nuffy. M Hodgson is an alright back rower, wouldn't give ya much for Lomu and the vet Croker. A couple of "little big men" on the bench in Withers and Tongue, Weyman aint much of a player. Tilse or Tom Learoyd-Lahrs offers a young big man on the bench who could grow into something. Overall, it's a decent side, but for quality they'll probably struggle to match most other sides. I don't think they'll make the 8.

you clearly havnt seen Miuk Weyman play... the blokes brittle, always finds a way to get injured but he is like a solar eclipse, dont see him often but when we do its pretty awesome... he averages about 10 metres per hit up, if he can string 2 seasons together, he will play rep footy

Also way harsh on Lomu, the bloke was unfit last year but looked to be getting back to what made him one of the best impact backrowers in the comp when he was at the chooks. A good off season and with some un expected success to canberra a NZ rebirth in the Anzac test isnt beyond him IMO

Yep, if Weyman can stay injury free he will have a very good year. Unfortunately he's only one bad injury away from retirement.
