Yeah the pack was depleted back then having lost Peachey, Carty and Taylor for sure.

But our spine was terrific and reliable. Pack was doing its job consistently unlike this years pack that has a higher ceiling but is extremely inconsistent.

Yeah but only 4 games to need to fire up for. Whether we are good enough is the question but on paper our best chance since 2004

Does that mean you won't be at any finals games again? That's a shame.
One day the NRL might be run by those who care about supporters in their heartlands, who care about a fair competition, whose every decision isn't just based on making the most money.

To be honest I was looking at going with my brother, but he backed out due to the cost, and its quite a trek down there and home.

I think neutral stadiums are better. I got my tickets for $20 and that includes travel.

Hope you enjoy the game anyway when we have a good win.

I agree with the sentiment - if you can make it, please make it.

But some of us have circumstances that we just can't cancel, irrespective of where the game is.

Make some extra noise for those of us who can't make it, if you don't mind. ;)

gone to every home game this year and I've gone to every finals match in Sydney since 2014. however in 2014 I sat on the opposite side and a bit above to the panthers bay. same in 2016. 2017 sat bang in the middle of the manly bay, but was f**king fun giving it to the manly fans. this Saturday I'm with the panther supporters finally so it's gonna be awesome. can't wait

Depends on the circumstances. I have a few mates that go to every home game and live just before Lithgow..Like Frog they would go if it was at Penrith. So it is a bit of each. The issue is I see nothing done to entice the neutrals to make the trip

I agree. The NRL should make an event out of it but it'll be treated like a regular season game.

Home finals though were only a pretty short run thing, you make it sound like they changed some great tradition.

Fact is we didn’t earn a home final anyway.
