The piece PK quoted there is actually from the official NRL site. RW copied it from there and it reads exactly the same. I'm not trying to defend PI but it is correct and hasn't been edited. Sorry Predator.

Yeah I know what you mean Predator ... we are only given what they want us to know. With my reference earlier of when the phone call was made ... the paper today actually said that Carr was not clear on that anymore and it could have been from the cab. And after reading todays paper it shows the events in more detail.

Gowie is seeking legal advice for his fines. He maintains he did nothing wrong and said it is unfair that he cop a fine. I totally agree with him. GO GET EM GOWIE!!!!!!!

And so he should! It's been what i have been saying right from the beginning moment I heard his name mentioned along with all this other stuff.

PK still praying for Gowie. [-o< It worked last night because I read this morning that he is going to appeal so now I am praying that his appeal will be successful.

On `House's' little bit in the Sunday Tele I also just read on PI that he is very happy at Penrith and won't be going anywhere. That's good. I feel for House too...just like Gasnier he has been caught up in something that shouldn't have been reported to the maximum that it has. I also agree that the boys do have grounds to appeal on some of their finings as the Management have failed them. I'm not excusing their actions but lets face it we are talking about boys who are young adults and when given the freedom they are given and told to `enjoy the experience' when being selected into rep, in my opinion it comes down to `commonsense' with management on how much they should be experiencing especially at a time when League is being turned inside out by every hungry reporter for a good demoralising story. It's about time the Management take a stand, eat their pride and accept some of the blame. Gasnier has. It seems Mini might too with the bit in the Tele paper of `copping it on the chin'. And with the way Management have tried to handle everyone else's case by handing out fines to cover their own arses it a little to much to swallow in my opinion.

Thanks for your contribution to League, as a fan I have thoroughly enjoyed the expereriences of your wins whilst you have been a coach, not only for Penrith but for the Blues. It's time to move on ...

That's quite alright Munkey...I believe a lot of people are making assumptions way too fast on all of this. I may be myself with the management thing. ;-)

I still believe that even thought they didn't technically have a curfew, that Gowie (especially after previous indiscretions and knowing how close he came to missing out on being picked at all), he really should have been using his own supposedly mature commonsense, and not gone out again after the team originally went back to the hotel, and he should have stopped the younger Waterhouse from going as well.

I don't care what anyone says, but with a training session locked in for 9.30 am in the morning, they should have been mature enough and had commonsense enough to decide that 3 am in the morning was a late enough night, and choose for themselves to go to bed ready for training that was only 6 hours later.

Clear your cookies and view the site as guest only. It's been happening to a few people that have spoken to me at the games and they have been adamant that all they did was be slightly negative or critical and were not offensive or defamatory ... there are ways of getting around it though. In one person's case they were blocked and when asked why were told it was a glitch in the computer.

Nope,ive tried that and get the same message on the front page,the news items are there but when i go to read them it takes me back to the same message..must be using a hack suggested from the v.bulletin forum

So you've cleared all cookies and history? I'm assuming here that you were viewing the site as a member? If you clear all cookies to do with that site plus history you should be able to regain access as a guest.

I ran through this with someone before and it worked for them.

And i just opened up another browser and viewed the site as a guest and is all ok with me but i have never had my IP blocked ... well I don't think it was. My username and posts were just deleted. But then again i use to always log out because of Jas accessing the site as well. So who knows. :?

Sorry Predator not following the hack suggested bit. Might be better to PM or email me that bit! :? And no idea what you are on about with the 24 year old either??? Who we talkin about?
