the cowboys have done us a favour...if he wants to take it easy up in the tropics and have a good time in party town townsville - then fine. he is better off up there than wasting our time down here.

i love how every player off contract and looking like signing with the knights is all of a sudden a good player. webb is ordinary. reynoldson tries hard but in the scheme of things is not a great player - he isn't much of a prize signing.

we have to face it that we have missed out on the prize signings this year and that it pretty much comes down to the greed of our players that has caused it.

I dont see Kirk as anything great, that forward from England is the one, people have being saying he eats Morely for breakfast, get Sargent over there now!

Disappointed that we couldn't make a better offer than North QLD. How can they promise him Origin football when we've got the Origin coach? You'd think that would be our selling point. #-o

If we don't sign anyone other than Rudder this year, I will begin to seriously doubt the intelligence of our administration. Why couldn't we have signed Shane Richardson when he jumped ship from Penrith?

As someone i respect on this forum I totally agree with you, but it was never my intention to dominate or exclude the thoughts of others on the forum.

My post voices my dissapproval of Knights supporters being niave in all things within the club.

I been here and in the old forum for a while and these same people gloating at the aquistion of the Webbs, Feeneys & Birds are probably the same ones that gave it to Rudder week in week out forcing him to leave the club.

Its a contradiction. Why do we jump up and down begging for players to come over, when the half decent ones get critised to the hilt?

Take a look at yourselves. We have juniors if the you listen to Roopy that will all play for Australia in the next few years, but we have a Flegg and Premier league team coming last or there abouts.

We have the worst board in the history of the game that dont know what they are doing in rgards to retainment of juniors, but we have club legends in Paul Harragan and Mark Seargent running things with the help of astute businesssmen in Allan McKewen.

We have one of the best coaches in Australia at the helm, but his assistant is crap.

There is so much crap posted in here and the sooner it stops the better.

Ben Kennedys cash has been spent on retaining Johns and Gidley.

So then, tell me how much the upgrades for Carmont, Seage and co is going to cost us?

we do not have as much in the can as you would like to think.

As I have suggested in earlier posts, get your head out of fantasy land. :roll:

Settle down people -- Webb was never a certainty to sign anyway. The last thing the Knights needed to do was to enter an inflated player market where bargains are hard to get.

Webb might have been an interesting proposition off the bench for the Knights, but I was never keen to accept the full package, which includes discipline problems in my opinion.

The Knights have lost a few good players, but its hardly cause to get so upset. In any case, it seems that Matt Jobson may return to Newcastle -- a cheap alternative. He may not be a flashy player, but we could do worse. He also doesn't count towards our salary cap because the Warriors have agreed to pay him for next year AND release him if another NRL club signs him.

As I've said: it isn't such a terrible miss. Reynoldson may not sign either -- but is it a reason to get all cranky? Probably not. 8)

I take it that sense prevailed and your thread exclusively about your problem with reladith was axed -- well done mods.

Let's not get worked up people -- you're taking the problems the Knights are facing out on each other. I'd hate to think that, as fans of a club that is struggling, our default position is to fight amongst ourselves.

If it was up to me we wouldn't be looking at buying anyone else especially not Bird or Franze.
I think we need to re-sign Carmont and Seage and keeo the left over money to secure players coming off contract next e.g Buderus, Abraham.
It's a shame we can't get anyone, however that's the way it goes.
