32 nil lose to Leeds this morning but i agree with you Wittyfan the Cru are in for a good season i feel.

Crusaders were only about half strength for that match, they had a lot of Welsh youngsters playing, whereas Leeds had probably the strongest team they could put out right now. So not too bad a scoreline considering.

Crusaders were missing a lot of first choice players: Schifcofske, Hanbury, Mellars, Martin, Sammut, Thomas, Peek, Winterstein and White.
Thats the better part of a team. The Cru played mostly a Welsh team against an almost full strenght Leeds outfit so it was a pretty good out come.

Yeah Cru we without a lot. I think it was 10! Leeds were missing 5 and from all accounts both teams wernt great. Leeds bombed quite a few chances but defensively were sound which is good to hear 2 weeks away from the season.
