Injuries have ruined their season this year, as soon as Gorrell was injured, things went from bad to worse.

I don't think they'll come last, they still can make the 6 if they pull their finger out, but I doubt it.

I think HKR will come last.

someone else kick goals bosc is costing them.
they are a lot more competitve than last season not getting thumped by 50 points every 2nd week, it won't happen overnight, i think jones need a hand around
the halves doing it all. Macguire is a ok player, then young french half in utc juniors should be bloodied next season in superleague.
next week is there grand final playing the unpredictable wigan, goalkicking has cost them this year & gorrel at 78% would maybe won them games.
that said bentley, touxagas, texido, khattabi have all been bloodied because of injury, i just hope they don't come last they have been a lot better than that this year. it is all part of development remember the warriors, titans at the moment, the one thing catalans must do in the future attract the pick of the imports available.
the have been f**kin unlucky at stages, word has it toulouse may be overlooked for superleague so more talent for catalans.
i think top 6 for catalans & a world cup semi for france 2008.

Unless KR can get a win off Warrington tomorrow, then there'll be a 4 point gap between Catalans in 10th and Huddersfield in 9th. With only six games to go, that's a lot to make up to climb any higher, or for teams above to slide down into relegation territory.

Looks like last place is between Catalans, Hull KR and Salford, with the last two in danger of the drop. Making the game next round between Salford and KR quite a vital 2 points, given the remaining draws of all three teams seem fairly even.

Catalans to play: Huddersfield, St Helens, Warrington, Wakefield, Bradford, Harlequins
Salford to play: (Hull FC), Hull KR, Leeds, St Helens, Wigan, Harlequins, Warrington
Hull KR to play: (Warrington), Salford, Bradford, Leeds, Hull FC, Wigan, Huddersfield

You're right about Bosc - every time I see him lining up for a shot at goal that isn't directly in front I start laughing as he has NO f**kING CHANCE of kicking it. He is truly hopeless. I honestly kick goals better than Bosc.

He also offers nothing in attack - although I accept he's not a half - and yesterday failed to ground the ball over the line (although fair dues to a great defensive play from Sing, who then went on to humiliate Bosc for Hull's final try, out jumping him and leaving Bosc in a crumbled ball on the deck). God, but Bosc is starting to irritate me, mainly due to his kicking!!! He's sh*te! He never kicks a difficult one.

Poor display from les Cats yesterday. Comprehensivley outplayed. No starch or fire and it seemed to me, having watched most of their games this season, that they've given up a little bit. Some of the defending was amateurish, and that's an insult to the tough amateur RL sides defending like killers week in week out.

Fair enough about the injury list, but they have a good squad and some weren't at the races yesterday. I'd dump McGuire and I'd get a specialised attack coach brought in as their predictability inside the opponent's half is wearing thin. Jones isn't the threat he used to be and at teh end of the game was even resorting to taking hit ups off the ruck, ball the under the arm, charging into the defence (he did it twice).

Khattabi dropped an easy ball that led to a try....another unidentified player let Tony striaght through down Hull's end of the field in a set which led to Hull's first try. After that I knew they were gone, which is a bad, bad sign.

I still choke when I recall the article in RLW a couple of months ago which called Bosc arguably the best player in SL on form. Jesus Christ!

Catalans assistant coach Andrew McFadden said in L'Independant on Friday, when talking about the players, that Bosc has class.

"Thomas Bosc a la classe
"

RUGBY A XIII

Barrett, McLinden, Long.

According to the Hull BBC radio commentators Khattabi had the setting sun in his eyes.
