Cavs v Warriors

Not just Jordan Magic did it without kareem from memory bird did it without parish etc

Magic did it in his first year, when the series went to Game 6. Kareem was out injured. Magic started at centre in Game 6 and basically filled Kareem's spot. Won the game after Johnson recorded 42 points, 15 rebounds, 7 assists, and 3 steals in a 123?107 win. Besides winning the title for the Lakers, it sealed Magic Johnson being the only rookie player to be NBA Finals MVP to boot.

Well LBJ didn't get another ring. Warriors win the game 105-97.

LBJ's stats look deceptive for the game. Yes he scored 32 points, but he did it on a 13-33 shooting performance and only made 4 from 8 at the free throw line. Also he made only 2 out 10 three point shots. He also had a game high 6 turn overs.

Steph Curry may have scored less, but his shot percentage was better, had less turnovers too. That said the Warriors played team basketball.

Well with LeBron not getting MVP, safe to say a losing player never will ever again (not complaining, just stating a fact).

Iggy was fantastic anyway, glad he got recognised for what he did this series.

Warriors easily the best team all year and deserved champs. Cavs and LeBron did well to make a series out of what many thought would be a sweep. He'll get more chances with Love and Irving back.

You can't really compare him to Curry, they're in completely different positions.

I agree though, big numbers for LeBron but this wasn't his best game, his shooting was off and he wasn't penetrating like he can. Pushed passes in an attempt ot be unselfish as well. They tried to mix their offence up a bit this game and it didn't really work.

Well deserved title for the warriors, were the best team all season and were just good to watch at both ends this year. Iggy played the best 6 games of his life and Lebron has good looking numbers but man did Iggy make him work for everything and then he chips in with some nice offensive games, well deserved.

maybe blatt deserves to take the heat for this, because it was odd that he didn't give into his ego and accept lebron was his only chance.....mozgov and thompson should have been hitting pick and rolls all day and if not lebron in the post....all day.

Lebron is the first player in finals history to lead both teams in points, assists and rebounds (35.8, 8.9, 13.1).

Lebron created, assisted, or scored 367 of the Cavaliers 561 points (65%), or just over 61 points per game. Imagine how many more assists he would've had with a better supporting cast?

Well done to the Warriors, the better team won and I was rooting for them, but I'm mighty impressed by what Lebron was able to do with a bunch of scrubs

Its cause he was playing with scrubs he got those numbers. It was very impressive but nothing particularly special about it.
