Cayless on the outer

I hold the same fears, lewiscook.

I don't think HIndy will be too impressed if Cayless gets the a$$.

But at the end of the day the club is bigger than any one player.

Hindy simply should ask himself "Do I want to win a comp or do I want to run 12th every year and play with my mates?"

I'm not sure why everyone wants Smith back. It would be a huge challenge getting him back to where he was 4 years ago. He has off field problems that haven't seem to have left him. Michael Monaghan would be my preference (Obviously there is the Canberra obstacle to get around).

He is a leader that would galvanise the side. We don't need flashy brilliance. We have plenty of that already.

cheers boss.

just a question stags...

is our club in anyway what so ever interested in karmichael hunt?

not to my knowledge..infact we don't really have the funds thanks to contracts to Hindy, Mateo, Hayne, INU and Caylo. they're on monster money.

Whilst i have absolutely no issue with the players being given notice that they are not wanted, i am a little disappointed that after 4 games, the season is virtually consigned to history as a rebuilding one. Yes, we have played crap in the last couple of weeks, but hey, the season is only 4 games old, and i would like to think we could give it a shake this year. Maybe this shouldve been done over the last off season, or waited till the next off season. As a supporter and sponsor, i feel that maybe i shouldve saved my money till next year now. If i hadve known this was going to happen, i would not have spent the money.

Maybe i am selfish, but thats just my view.

TBH, I'm happy to have a coach make the tough calls.

I also dont think we have the squad to give it a shake this year.....

yeah Jase, but you have to understand that DA had his hands tied with the squad that was given to him during the off season.

we need blokes like you to stick solid with club matey...btw, we're due for a bit of a catch up chat soon ;-)

I will stick with the club, no matter what. The club is bigger than any player or coach. However, i hope things are handled in a professional way. Our club needs stability after the last few seasons, and was hoping this season would be the start of a new era.

By the way, i think DA will go down as the second best coach ever to be at Parra by the time he goes. I have complete faith in him.

Love to catch up Stagger on Friday at footy.

understandable mate but we were gonna do jack sh*t this year regardless, so lets rip the band aid off quickly and lets get on with it

I'm not going to get all excited until a deal is struck, AFAIC..those guys are still at the club and are still getting paid, who in their right mind will pay Cayless on the coinage that his currently on????

saying it's a great day is a little premature.

If Cayless has a get out clause at the end of the year to go to ESL, he'd most likely take that up given enough pressure from DA

Good to see we finally have a coach with some balls ready to make the hard decisions. Honestly were we really going to anywhere this season with Finch at 7????? And our captain and supposed forward leader playing like a wet lettuce leaf???? We may have a tough season ahead of use but at least there is some light ahead of the Hagan dug tunnel........

As a supporter, its all the more reason to support the blue and gold I would have thought

I wouldnt say the season is over...just yet

Easier to spend money when things are all glowy and rosy I guess....

not to sure about the article, appears to be sourced from a blog

maybe they read something here and made some assumptions, but there are no direct quotes

on the outer doesn't really mean much

Anderson sure has balls doesn't he!!

ps what did Cordoba do wrong?

The problem with court over is exactly that he didn't do anything............ and that includes being a first grade footballer.......... he has to be the worst forward Parramatta has....
