This sums people like R69 and millersnose- they can't see God in front of them and His existence can't be scientifically proven, so therefore God doesn't exist.
Dodge, your description of religion in the first paragraph of your last post is the way alot of people think, unfortunately. But if there was an all-knowing God, don't you think He would be able to see past all the falseness in apologising then going back to your old ways? Sort of like a guy whose girlfriend keeps cheating on him, he will be able to tell pretty shortly that she really isn't sorry.

It wasn't meant to be funny, if I was trying to come up with something witty and I would have actually thought about it - I did that as my personal protest about the ridiculousness of the questions they expect you to answer.

Dont get me wrong, certain parts of the census are important such as number of people in your household etc., but they have no right to know what salary Im on, the address of where I work or what my main duties are.

oh k, i don't know 4sure, but lets say... your income... so that they can provide a certain area with cheaper facilities... if the avg income is less. if you have to travel far, to add bus stops closer if their arn't many. they use this sh*t 2 help you out. that is just stupid to be ridiculous like that.

Th reason they ask things like your earnings is so they can establish what sort of funding needs to go into which areas and what type of taxation measures they need to apply.

If every said they earned $1 million a years, the government could say lets put everyone's taxes up and no need to pay for child care centres/public hospitals/etc, because everyone can afford it themselves...

You'd be suprised how many companies guesstimate the average weekly earnings surveys ...

Companies don't provide the ABS with individual householders incomes, that would be a massive breach of privacy.


As I've said though, you would genuinely be suprised to find out how many companies guesstimate the AWE surveys.

If they actually base the AWE index on what companies complete on the forms than they are kidding themselves.


I take offence at being forced to complete a useless/nothing survey, which has absoloutely zero bearing on where/how money gets spent.

Politicians govern by opinion polls & ideology, not some make believe numbers that come through on the census.

As a Christian,you should be aware of how many members of your religion are constantly trying to convert me as an atheist. And yes, I am an atheist...I have zero belief in god...I know within myself that religion is just an easy way of explaining the world, for people to be content with the world around them.

I respect the fact that you have your own beliefs. But I won't respect you for believing in that way until Christians, Catholics, etc stop refusing to understand my point of view. I'm laughed at for not believing in a god. So I will show you no respect purely for being a Christian.

that great i feel so sorry 4 u... my dad lost his father and 3 brothers because they where christian. Anyone who mocks u for not being a christian, is being unchristian themselves. i do not judge muslims for the past, as i would expect u not to judge my religion (by the way im orthodox not catholic). Religion itself is not wrong, the way ppl implement it can be very wrong... all i ask is respect for my religion, as i respect the fact that ur athiest. i would not try and convert u, i would not judge u, tbh i don't care wot u believe... if i did i would be judgmental... which is against christianity itself. u be urself ill be me... i would just people would not make comments like that. its my heratige, and it would be like me disrespecting ur heratige
