CEO might leave?

Media BS or where there is smoke there's fire?

He has been a cluster f**k of an appointment in my opinion.

I stated this very early on in the peace.

I've never liked people who focus more energy on speeches and member emails than actually focusing and being pro active on doing things that make the Club go forward. That also means not doing self imposed audits on the Club back to f**king 2014 that the NRL has already done. What did you seriously gain from that Barry? Well we now know not much but increase the f**king hardship to the Club. How naive he was thinking that Greenberg wouldn't f**k him over and the Club. Well helllloooo all that Greenberg cares about is Greenberg, and his job.

Well I hope now he sticks around to clean up the mess he created. If he resigns now all that shows me is that he is weak as piss. No backbone. No conviction. Only a f**king loser and a coward.

Yeah it's tough now to get sponsorship.

But you lost it, now you get it back.

The leather of the heals of your shoes should have been worn out by now knocking on as many doors as possible.

I doubt it though.

Start fulfilling what you said at your CEO interview.

FMD you were the best person for the job?

Listen the the bomber interview. Danny W asks him 3 times if he is long term and he said he is into the future.

Dumb ass screwed himself by saying anything. U just watch.

If Bazza leaves and takes a job with the NRL, we would have alright to be asking what the hell has gone down.

Maybe Bazza will be replacing Greenberg

He’s certainly dug a big hole for the club & why, I’m not sure...to prove himself a hero??

He’s managed to get our premiership winning coach expelled from the game for something we all knew was happening.

This salary cap crap has been going on for about 5 months now. What the f**k is going on with it? Surely they could get a result in half the time if they really wanted to.

Well if the reports are true.. a 50k 3rd party misdemeanour, then we would end up in the NRLS yearly list of 3rd party salary cap infringements.
If the report is correct , then it is a minor penalty resulting in a penalty of $100-150k.
This is going by past history, not the Telegraph or Rothfields hanging tree.

following the sharks when growing up and having to suffer with all the poor management during the late 80's and into the early 2000's rightfully p'ed be off as we had some eceptional teams and plaers during those times and failed on so many occasions and after arguing about it last night has brought up the bad taste in my mouth again. I came to the concluson that to many incompetent decisions keep being made over and over again, dont get me started again on the anderson drama what a mess that was. i think the '04 finals against the warriors was when i started losing interest in the sharks and it was nice to see them win one in 2016 but i will never have the same love for them like i did during 97-99 - wow what a team we put together over those years and i cried like a baby at the 99 finals and sat in my seat absolutely gutted well and truly long after the ft whistle

now history looks to be repeating itself, with BR at the helm who has taken the sharks from the highs to truly the lows again and my friends were adament they truly dont care if the club goes broke after all the bs that has gone one with flano getting the sack and juniors playing up, these are life members too and we all asked why was the bloody investigation into salary cap go back to 2014-15, doont he nrl need to sign off on the books each year? if they didnt fidn anything then why raise it again and we all couldnt understand why

who was the other ceos in the running beside BR? wasnt one the others soemone with 25 years experience as ceo of an afl team? how can that not be the most suitable for the job

maybe i am angry becuase of the drink or maybe its more to do with newcastle smashing my wanderers

Yes Barry Russell definitely is a blast from the past of Sharks old admin.

A loser.

Do nothing.

Paper shuffler & Pen pusher.

Take it up the arse from the NRL.

Why you would give the dumb farks of the NRL any foot in the door was totally naive. They find shyte unless you show them it. History proves that.

I very much doubt he was the best man for the job. Unfortunately back to the bad old days of another job for the boys.

I hear ya pain, I have gone through it every decade even the 70's when we got questionable decisions against us going into the 78 GF. Although I was a kid then I still remember feeling like I'd been ripped off. 80's the same, highs and lows.. Balmian sign Ellery Hanley for the finals series the fire escape debacle... Now f**ken BR, Keystone Cop award, absolute muppet!

Frenzy.

I’m immune.

Keep my expectations low. Nothing surprises me.

I dont really have an issue of the self reporting of the minor salary cap breach. I can understand why he would have gone on the front foot.

To me, where he failed was in not performing due dilligance and not getting a private, independent audit performed on the ‘puters to make sure everything else in the backyard was in order. That is rank amateur.

Management 101. When shitting in thine own nest, know the phuque what the outcome will be before you squat over the hole.

FMD Rothfield gets some inside info from his board member friend that Barry Russell is on the outer with the board and can’t wait to do a full inside back page in today’s Tele crap on how it’s disgraceful how Russell is being treated.

Claret face is a dead set cancer to our Club. I bet the dumb f**k doesn’t even realise how all his shitty articles are killing the Club. Anything for a f**king story in the paper.

Apparently Russell was told to leave the board room when the board members wanted to talk to Morris about the head coaching job. Well he probably should be out of the board room and in his office lining up Sponsorship deals.

Rothfield came out in defence of Barba, saying banning him no chance of return hurts barba's family, where was Rothfield when Flanno was banned for a lot less no where to be seen

Rothfield only ran that story because of the positive story in the SMH the day before with Dino in it suggesting nothing is going on with Barry.

It’s as obvious as his aclohol problem.

And to have another shot at Fifita and Duges...
They really hit him on the red nose with their comments, he's still hurting too

Im just reading the subtext here and maybe putting 2 and 2 together and prob coming up with 5....but:
It seems to me that BR has come in after getting his dream posting and thought lm lil Bawwy and lm a chicken hawk.
Im going to make my mark as the best CEO ever.
First thing he does is try to impress Greenberg by finding a skeleton in our closet to shkw hes a company man.

By doing so he unwittingly spotlights Flannos indescretion and those of 'flannos board'.

This sees the end of flanno.
His board members also realise the jig is up and jump ship one by one.

So obvioulsy now NOBODY trusts lil bawwy - least of all the remaining board members- and he is cut out of important talks.
Why?....because he cant be trusted.

He knows his days are numbers.
Coaches.
Board.
Majority of Supporters.
Gals brigade.
BR has lost all of them.

Id imgine Greenberg thinks hes a dick as well. He must think this guy is a loose cannon. Capitualted his own club. Cost their coach his job.
I will use him and lose him.

He reports to the NRL about salary cap discrepancy for 2015, Instead we get the coach sacked and got fined for it, and where still waiting on the salary cap fine from the NRL self reporting PHEW!!!, f**king Trojan horse kind of stuff. The guy is a weasel.
