The NRL shouldn’t just ban Barba. They should also fund his victims to mount legal action against him. Banning him will NOT prevent further DV, it drives it underground, takes the kharnt out of the spotlight and may make it easier for him. Especially if Barba lays blame with the victim. DV is very, very tricky and the simplest solution is rarely the best for the victims.
4 poor little girls have had to witness this for example. No one mentioning them. At least one will end up a drug phuqued addict for sure. Such is the trauma on kids of DV.
Imagine your kids seeing any or all of these things?
- unfairly and regularly accuses her of flirting or being unfaithful
- controls how she spends money
- decides what she wears or eats
- humiliates her in front of other people
- monitors what she is doing, including reading her emails and text messages
- discourages or prevents her from seeing friends and family
- threatens to hurt her, the children or pets
- physically assaults her (hitting, biting, slapping, kicking, pushing)
- yells at her
- threatens to use a weapon against her
- constantly compares her with other people
- constantly criticises her intelligence, mental health and appearance
- prevents her from practicing her religion.
No wonder so many of our youth are rewired and can’t function!
Barba can drink like an idiot, take drugs and do whatever other shit a personality disordered qhunt can do but he is truly a hateful human who should rot in jail. Worse than that appeals as well
