CEO might leave?

No but he did report it...

If Barry did not self report and the breaches were uncovered he would have been liable under the new terms of the salary cap and would have been run out of the game.

No wonder he looks sick and wants out.

If Barry goes, who realistically could we get? I am serious in saying that I wouldn't take the job if offered.

Plenty of ambitious people would jump at the job. Not many CEO positions available, especially in sport.

Yep, you need to be a special kind of psycho to want to be / and be a good ceo. Kiss your family goodbye.

No way I’d want to be one, let alone at the sharks.

Heaps of people would take it. Why do you think you’d even be close to getting it offered frank?

Maybe "heaps" would take it. Heaps of students and mortgage brokers and bricklayers. However; proven top line sporting administrators with a track record or capable business people with the resume to sort our joint out wouldn't go near us at the moment- not at least for the coin we offer.

I have a relationship with Dino. If the job was to become available I could push to be interviewed but doubt I am his style and would get very far.

The most career driven you could be I reckon. I'd never do it. No life outside of work.

Fair enough.

What we need is a real CEO, from a major company not a cheap alternative. We can’t offord that so we get an 80s halfback.

Well no NRL club would go near him now anyway so he's achieved the same result.

But the breaches would've never been "uncovered". Someone else might've squealed, but the the NRL wouldn't have cracked the case on their own.

We did what crime?

How the hell does it take so long to get an outcome?

The only reason it could take so long is the complexity & size of the breach must be huge??

That’s contrary to reports though...

Maybe Barry is looking shit & ready to bail because he knows what’s coming??

I’ll never forget when the drug taking story in the NRL first broke & someone in here assured us we were sweet...nek minnit...

If CEO roles becomes available i dont want that guy from Sunderland, he sent them backwards.

I can remember late 80's Peter Riley involved at the club, i believe he was alleged sto0d down over some very dicey dealings, the board wanted to give him a 2nd chance

I'll do it.

I'd have two sponsors within 24 hours.

Dean Triesters business on the jumper.

Flanno Tiling on the shorts.

pssst we won one with Lyle.

I for one appreciate every 2016-er involved as of right now, I just don't care anymore.

Quigs how you are feeling is very common and not just with Shark supporters, its was once about the players and clubs and the fans, now its about the NRL the brand, they are losing the fans, everyone is sick of it.

For example if Napa gets suspended Dogs fans will be upset and so they should be, due to how he is treated compared to Inglis, seems like the haves and have nots

We need to be concerned the NRL hit tigers with $800k strip on salary cap for this year, i am guessing we will be around that
