getting an early arvo off work and with the time to read these comments makes me feel that BR is now in a similar position as jason taylor was at the tigers. with taylor coming in with fresh ideas and new hopes buy ruffled the feathers taking all the blame for shaking the whole place up and copping plenty for it.
BR came in with positivity in the air with many believing in his appointment, yet after producing zero positive annoucemnets and only sinking the clubs prospects into the doldrums after many months has become public aenemy number 1 in the eyes of many fans (especially my mates at the bbq) and can imagine his time as ceo will be cut short from a long term ceo to a short term ceo, as he has either lost faith with members and reportedly the board too.
the salary cap thing is still to be released and it has been reported the sharks may need to drop a player along with paying a hefty fine, going into the season with a knowledgeable coach yet still classified as a rookie coach (will a nathan brown 2.0 happen?), going into the season with only i believe four sponsors on the kit if you count bladez, opal solar (on the sleeve potentially) and the two who were on the shorts last year., going into the season with a huge amount of debt (loans to board members) and any advancement of funds from the development i imagine a large portion would need to go towards paying those loans off leaving little to fund other operations of the club
atleast i can have a happier weekend after seing sydney fc go down 2-1
