and i agree,

Leulaui could easily fill the bench role too, but i think they seem to have grand plans for him if they get him and BS was confident of great news by the end of the week regarding him (on Channel 10) and was unusally coy and confident about it all

however, until he is signed i'm still sticking by #6 Morris #7 Marsh ;-)

depends yy???

he is the incumbent NZ half, but he is also only 19??? and was second or third string in the NRL last year, his market value is probably down because of that

but even so, it would surely have to be >100 K maybe around 150 k??

Just on the cap, how much do you guys think we are gonna pay for a International Halfback?

Australian halfback - $350,000 plus.

New Zealand halfback - $150,000 with bonuses. He is 19 and has only played a handful of games at NRL level. he has shown he can play at the top level but he is also about fourth choice with the others injured or retired - Jones, Hohaia, Ropati.....

Leuluai won't be an Eel...

Eels Slip Away From Leuluai
17/11/2004 12:44 PM NewstalkZB

It looks as if the Warriors have put a stop to Thomas Leuluai's chances of playing for the Parramatta Eels next season.

The Warriors will release the young Kiwis halfback, but only to a UK club, not another NRL side.

Parramatta have been keen to sign Leuluai.

However Leuluai says it does not look as if that is going to happen.

He says they have tried to persuade the Warriors to let him go to another NRL club, but it appears those efforts have been fruitless.

Leuluai says it is frustrating given he was really keen to go to the Eels where coach Brian Smith was really positive.

Leuluai says he is likely to spend one year in the UK, before trying to break back into the NRL.

He says he cannot say where he is headed, but he will be getting a regular starting spot, which can only be beneficial.

Leuluai says he is still young and has plenty more to learn about directing play on the field.

Kent was horrid against us when we versed them at Toyota Park. But has put on good preformances. Has nothing compared to Green or Smith let alone Marsh.
