That was a legit contender for worst game I've ever seen, WTF.

What is the obsession with Pommy clubs signing bog average Australians just because they have a couple of NRL games on their resume. Is there really nothing better in the whole of England than Holdsworth and Miller? dear oh dear. Kenny and Sterlo in thier 50's would have outplayed them.

Hull have an inexperienced Aussie coach so that's probably the reason. We often see guys like Gentle come over and bring a bunch of garbage imports with them because they either underestimate Super League or just don't have a good knowledge of local players. What I don't understand is why certain British clubs keep on going for NRL assistant coaches - for every Michael McGuire we get about 5 like Gentle and Royce Simmons that don't work out and just stagnate the progress of their clubs.

It's also worth noting that no club with an Australian in the halves has ever won a SL Grand Final. Hull are a poor side and won't get anywhere this year.

underestimate Super League

True. May explain why Heighington was picked for England.

Heres the truth about NRL, the quality feeder comps (reserve grade) have been ripped apart by cost cutting and the salary cap has spread the talent paper thin. Many times they are watching an under 20's player way out of his depth or a NSW cup standard player.

The ex Aussie coaches must use it as leverage to get the jobs over there by saying they can attract x amount of Australian 'talent'.

Thought the first half was gripping due to the fact that hull where under siege and held wigan to just 6 points. Second half unfortunately deteriorate rapidly with handling errors from hull in particular with every set.

But thats life, well done to wigan. Hull didn't turn up and a few players such as miller clearly were not up to the task, final score flattered Hull.

Hull were embarrassing, how many incomplete sets were there from brain explosions and low percentage plays. Big fan of English rugby league but that was probably the worst game I've ever seen. It was actually embarrassing to watch at times. Miller and holdsworth are not first grade footballers let alone good enough to steer a champion team around. Really poor game in an important year for the sport.

I'll echo the thoughts of so many in that that was probably the worst halves performance i've ever seen.

And lets not underestimate the power of having a local coach like Wane for Wigan. Feel like Wigan just wanted it more.

Yeah, I was embarrassed watching the game and wanted to switch off. I still can't believe how bad it was, I'm struggling to think of a worse game that I've seen. Even the awful Super League matches involving the likes of Widnes and London that have taken place over the years at least usually include some comedy moments and slack defenses to make them somewhat entertaining, Wigan vs Hull was just horrible and painful to watch.

Well I put the mock on both my games yesterday.
Poor game for the 78k crowd. Poor coverage as well, waited up to watch the pre game activities and the coverage starts 20 seconds into the game. Wtf?

Yeah it was terrible coverage. I love all of the pre game stuff. The second half started a minute into it as well. How hard is it?
