Apparently someone who was at the club this morning and spoke to the staff, advised that there didn't seem to be anything on the agenda today.

Hopefully this view is incorrect, but somehow I think that any announcement will be run of the mill, and as an individual I still wouldn't want to paying TW the sort of cash we are advised he is receiving, too big a risk but somehow Moanly have an appetite for it. My main issue is that the bearded wonder still hasn't produced too many players for them and continues to raid our juniors, obviously he has not got the same credit card.

Well i'll be stuffed....i know its been said 60 million times but i still have no idea how we were supposedly offering a contract to Ennis and after he turns his back that money miraculously disappears. The management and coaching staff obviously don't rate Williams...as simple as that. Bloody dickheads.

don't particularly feel like sticking up for the club coz I'm also mad as hell about Williams moving to the Sea Scum, but from what I am reading if we HAD signed Ennis it was going to come at the cost of resigning Oake and Hauraki.

Now that we are out of the race for Ennis it sounds like we are likely to resign those 2 players. The reality is that the club probably feels as though resigning 2 promising young players with some NRL experience is better than us signing 1 very promising young player with no NRL experience (until last Sat night anyway...) for the same money. I guess that makes sense in theory.

Cardinal i've been hoping you'd come up with the goods mate....and i'm sure that you had some good inside info, but i think the time has passed. I'm all for wishful thinking but everything clearly points to him going to the eagles. I'd be interested to hear your source though. Can you pm it to me by any chance??
