Hayne and Inu were offered 350k plus which would of been competitive from other clubs.

Mateo was offered big $$$$$ from Manly and unless he got a competitive offer from your club he'd would be playing with us.

The point is Williams offer was double what your club offered whereas, Hayne, Mateo and Inu are on a fairly hefty salary and wouldn't have got much more had they gone elsewhere.

Some of the reason your club says they has spent up to the cap.
