At least McCrone has a bit of a running game. I could deal with Cornish at 7 and McCrone at 6. Campo offers none of the skill needed in a 7 and lacks the running game needed at 6.

Hopefully Tupou is out at the very least.

Wighton isn't a half, that is obvious to me. I know he played there in junior footy but that doesn't mean anything to me. He doesn't have a good enough passing or kicking game and should be moved into the centres and put Cornish, McCrone or Milford in the halves with Campo. Your season isn't over yet and if you can get some some wins over the Origin period you will be right back in the mix. If Sticky doesn't make changes soon you might as well forfeit every remaining game because you won't be winning many

Campo has played worse than Wighton though. Campo is a huge part of the problem right now. He outright sucks. He is supposed to be the captain and he is playing like a busted arse. He apparently didn't have a missed tackle against the warriors but thats because he was literally so far off making the contact he was supposed to be making that it didn't register. They weren't missed tackles they were anti tackles.

Even at his absolute best he is a guy who couldn't organise a pub crawl in the cross, can't pass properly both ways and his kicking game is reasonable long and average short. He is a confident big player who can take players on in the line. He is not and has never been a crafty smart half. He is playing on one leg atm.

Yeah I would agree with that Pete, I would pick a whole new halves pairing if need be. I do think shifting Wighton to centre, Allwood to wing, Tupou to the Canberra C-Grade comp and Campo into a nice coaching role would be an improvement. No idea who would partner Cornish in the halves though so that is a problem but I don't know much about Canberra Holden and NSW Cups. McCrone maybe, I know he is pretty bad but it is still an improvement, or even Milford but I know many would be against that for obvious and understandable reasons

Oh and at least a couple of my suggestions have been taken on board, good to see Ricky has made up his mind on who is going to play by naming an 8 man bench

RAIDERS-60x60.jpg
4:24pm: Raiders: 1. Anthony Milford, 2. Reece Robinson, 3. Jarrod Croker, 4. Jack Wighton, 5. Mosese Pangai, 6. Terry Campese, 7. Josh McCrone, 8. David Shillington , 9. Glen Buttriss, 10. Brett White, 11. Josh Papalii, 12.Jarrad Kennedy, 13. Shaun Fensom Interchange: 14. Matt McIIwrick, 15. Joel Edwards, 16. Paul Vaughan, 17. Dane Tilse, 18, Mitch Cornish, 19. Shannon Boyd, 20. Kyle O'Donnell, 21. Sami Sauiluma

Talking point: Ricky Stuart has wielded the axe in the Nation's Capital. The biggest change is McCrone moving to halfback, with Campese back to five eighth and Wighton back to the centres. Jarrad Kennedy returns to the Raiders team in the second row, with Josh Papalii and David Shillington also returning to the Raiders starting side. Mosese Pangai will make his Raiders debut after being named on the wing for the Raiders in place of Bill Tupou

I would have kept Allwood though because I like the look of him. What's Pangai like?

To be fair, dropping Tupou at least allows for the possibility of points down that wing while we have the ball, and should assist in removing at least 1 gift try to the opposition.

Not game changing, but easily worth at least 8 points.

I assume we will see Cornish play this week and for McCrone to only play part of the game in the halves.
