Who cares about who they've named? Mary could name Thurston and Cronk in the halves, it wouldn't make a lick of difference because Mary's got them playing 15m before the line, running shapes that are pointless unless you're engaging the defence, and then when it doesn't work (because, again, you can only run block plays to any effect if you're doing it over the advantage line, otherwise the defence just slides) we sit back and wonder why we can't break tackles.

Sorry, having a rough time coming to terms with McCrone in the side.

Duges looking sharp as well. McInnes has played well some strong running.
Our kicking game is poor .
Hopefully 2nd half will be better.

Lafai doing SFA as usual. McInnes playing alright. De Belin killing it. Still same predictable crap though.

The boys have done well to be as close as they are at halftime. With the exception of a few bad defensive reads, the defence has had to work hard and has been solid.

Happy with the forwards. Would like to see Mann/Field halves. Widdop is trying, but his decision making is letting him down. McCrone has barely been noticeable. In fact, it is McInnes and Dugan showing ball playing skills, not the halves.

If Mary insists on playing Widdop, move him to fullback and put Dugan/Milne in as centre combo.

Loving watching some footy again.

First half positives:

- JDB is an animal
- Packer has the sh*ts
- McInnes is solid in defence and creative in attack
- Duges' pass (seriously how good was that)

Negatives:

- Widdop
- McCrone
- Lafai
- Poor bugger Matthews
- we keep trying to run shapes 10 metres before the advantage line and the Rabbitohs just slide. Both tries were scored by engaging the defensive line. It's not f**king rocket science
