Looking at the Souths team I note that Jacob Host has been named in the starting 13. Good on him. No way would he been in the team under Mary.

The only slight variation I would make Possm is Ben Hunt. Normally you would want to keep your captain on for the duration so he may take over the rake's position from McCullough for the second half.

Why not run you best side on so they can develop some combo. Ramsey is not a fullback yet he is barely a winger still wet behind the ears. Put the real boys on and when they need a break put the second tier boys on for a run. Other wise we will get flogged. We seen them last two weeks they are still reserve garage mostly. Their chance will come next year.

I find that very odd too. There are only two things I can think of which are a) He wants to push Macca for 80 to get him as match fit as possible and if he needs a spell they will just use a makeshift player to play 10-20 to give him a spell. Or b)He plans on using Sullivan or Clune off the bench as a hooker in round 1 and BB has dropped down the pecking order.
I personally don’t like the move as if Macca was to get injured I still think BB is a better option than any other makeshift options in our squad. The bloke played one bad trial match.
