Well it can be taken too far I believe Harry. I was happy to see Dom Young out there on Sunday otherwise the Roosters were unrecognisable.

The good juniors left when Saints had poor coaches that did not know how to identify good talent. If Browny was around the Dragons at the time, they would be mostly be in FG now for Saints not other clubs especially Robson.

Flanno will also know which ones to keep and which to let go which is good.

RFM, R.Couchman and Hamish Stewart all played really well last Sunday, especially RFM making good metres but we need a big fella on the bench come round 1. Actually we need 2 more big bodies.

Nathan Lawson looks ready. He is an athlete, has great coordination, great under the high ball, amazing awareness of the sideline, defends like his life is at stake, big, fast, strong, ambitious to win/succeed, skillful (that kick!!!).
"His ready I Tells ya!!!" 😊
I agree. Lawson should be the first player selected for a winger position.

I'd also like to say that Reed played well in the second half of the trial. He is a player to keep an eye on in the future.

Couldnt agree more mate.
In my opinion couchmans and are too alike (no pun inteaded) though CURRENTLY don’t see them both in the 17.
Need Sele to play weekly!! And an extra forward to give us a different dynamic on the bench. Which would consist of liddle & RFM.
Thought Loko would get in though I think still abit to young atm. Will debut this season though.

Just looking at the stats for our trial on the weekend, Finau deserves that wing spot and hopefully he has another blinder this weekend. Makes plenty of metres the young fella
Agree. I think Finau & CT wing combo is needed! Both are meter eaters and aren’t scared to take a hit up.
yes that may change with Lawson & Sloan during the year but I think round 1 IF ct is fit.
otherwise will be Feagai & Finau

is it moderate?

he is a big loss, and rava / fegai are liabilities on the wing

We need to give Sloan a shot on the wing, he's purpose built for the new style of play Flanno has set in motion. Sloan's speed, skill and X-factor playing off our spine (including Liddle) will get us plenty of points. CT on the other wing when he's fit until we can get Lawson in the 17 later in the year. I guess Finau for now and see off Rava for good and Feagai until we're desperate.
