I think the last 10 charity shields is something like 8 - 1 - 1 record to Souths.
I know it's a glorified trial, and we just need the practice an injury avoidance, but it'd be nice to do something about that.

Dragons by 10.

Game day, Charity Shield not really like it used to be, now with all games pre season being televised.
However, should be a good final hit out, get through with no injuries, win the game and get ready for dogs round 1. Dogs are $1.30 favourites to win round 1, it’ll be fun when we win.

Key focus on today, complete above 75% Last year we completed at 68%, missed 32 tackles and made 16 errors, that's not good enough. I want us to treat this like round 1 and go after them, we should win this game. GO THE SAINTS!!

12 or 13 different players in this years squad with butterfingered players like Lomax, Bird, Hunt and Rav not there we should do better in discipline, although last week wasn't too good. Too many dropsies and penalty/ruck infringements. Hopefully that was rust and not Dragonball. There's nothing I hate more than the undoing of all our hard work when someone throws a stupid pass or loses it cold by not concentrating. Every time we hand it over it's more tackles for us, less for them, and giving up hard earned metres. I saw Flanno's face in the box early in the Rorters game, really angry after a Dragons error - I hope he keeps that up a la Bellyache and demands better.
