The edges are our strength, and arguably (a fancy way of saying in my opinion) the best centre-backrow combination in the league. I suspect players defending against Su'a-Suli & Leilua-Holmes this year might feel like they're in a narrow laneway in Pamplona during the running of the bulls.

And the good thing to see in the Charity Shield is the halves play to those strengths - nothing fancy required, just shovel the ball straight out to the big guns.
Loving the references mate, very funny

All true, Victoire, and the cherry on top is going to be Lawson outside Sua and Suli, which I am confident must happen. The man reportedly has run a 10 sec 100m. That is strike power.

What a great couple of trials games we got to watch with the new look Dragons. Apart from that little blip before and after half time Saints looked great and I am liking Finau more and more and should be our winger. He has played little game time and produced some really good highlights. I still can't get over that run from the kickoff last year against Penrith when he caught the ball and ran it back to near or past the half way line. He has scored 4 tries in a game in what his 3rd game. The kids a star.

Saints have great depth in the outside backs and the other guy that does not get much of a mention is Hayden Buchanan. He did not do much but looks like another kid that will be capable to fill in if there are a a few injuries.

The Couchman's are going to cement themselves in 1st grade this season and will be for years to come. These kids will be solid players with good work ethic. Tonga was solid as well so that is like 3 new players coming in to FG on top of Guler from last year and possibly Klemmer. The forwards are taking shape nicely.

Flanno has made some astute signings with players that have good attitudes I feel which will help significantly. How good is it to see players playing in the red V that I feel believe that they can actually achieve success.
