Shane's stubbornness in picking CT, Kyle, Lawrie in the squad is enough for me to lnow we won't progress from last year. I think he's a very poor coach in current era and his defensive mindset without focusing on attack is hurting our progress as a squad and club.

One of the problems is that Mr Dean Young does not know how to develop defensive patterns of play.

We needed to drop Lawrie, Sloan, Kyle, CT, and Guler. These players should be playing reserve grade. So, they must be moved on and replaced with proper first-grade players. At a minimum, we should have recruited a first grade prop for 2026.

They aren't enforcers. They will become very good first graders who will be valuable in our squad once they are able to play natural game and not expect them to be the alpha dogs in our pack. They won't let you down. Hamish Stewart is next level but. Very exciting prospect.

I thought Atkinson was solid he’s the best half they have but no support at 6 as the coach son is not even up to Cup standard!

On another note I felt bad for both Sele and Glover with what happened early on.

Young Ryan Couch is a goer too. I think he has a bright future. For us I thought Nazareth Tua didn’t look out of place at all and I like young Ward he reminds me of a young Luke Keary.
