Cripple fight
well they chose well you think we don't need staines we need forwards. That shows how much talent Penrith have and how well they develop their juniors. He was a gun not too long ago then Taylan May came in and he is now in the outer. Replacing one junior for another. The production line is immense. He would be an upgrade to Moga as he has some pace. I think Tigers are in for him though and they usually get the guy before Saints which our board does not seem to realise how low down the line they are when it comes to attracting players. From memory Ofahengaue, Tamou etc were choosing between Saints and Tigers and chose Tigers.
Thinking Sloane has a long, long way to go. Ramsey's the young gun withI lost all respect for young Charles when he on two occasions publically on national television referred to himself as the "black Porche" once on the Matty Johns show when he was on with his coach Ivan with Fitzy and Hindy in one of those between 2 plants comedy segments and once again on another program which I just can't remember right now...but it will come to me.
Fitzy from memory or thereabouts suggested he change his nickname to "Shit" and even Ivan nearly pissed himself with laughter...me too included.
He has nothing on our two black porches in Blacklock and Offiah and, to be honest way too cocky until someone better in the Pamffers system came along in 2022 and knocked him down to a "brown Porsche" (see what I did there ..thanks Fitzy).... It may be the reason why he has spent most of 22 in Reggies for the Pamffers.
He can try and emulate his "black Porche" status at the Tigers for I can care. I still think Sloan/and Chef need to share the fullback/wing spot in 2023 and see who the winner is for 24.
I think Sloan IS scared. If he does something and it works he just MIGHT hold his position for another week. If he does something and it doesn't work, well he will be hooked and dropped for next week. I think he needs a bit of support and a hard off season to get his confidence back. The kid CAN play!Thinking Sloane has a long, long way to go. Ramsey's the young gun with
the jump on fullback.
Sloane is a long way behind,
didn't show much against the Titans, seems to get mesmerized & just stands there watching. Doesn't get involved enough. Looks like he's scared.
Well yes. I've been told he goes really good in Reserve grade. But so did DUFTY. Some just don't make it to first grade standard. I hope I'm wrong.I think Sloan IS scared. Dufty was 26 years old and played more than 80 FG games with us and 12 FG games for the dogs before it was determined he wasn't NRL FG standard.Well yes. I've been told he goes really good in Reserve grade. But so did DUFTY. Some just don't make it to first grade standard. I hope I'm wrong.
Not really, either you have it or you don't. Both have a similar disposition." No"eye of the Tiger. They are both scared of the contact. In other words waste of time.Dufty was 26 years old and played more than 80 FG games with us and 12 FG games for the dogs before it was determined he wasn't NRL FG standard.
Sloan turned 20 years old in June, and has played 12 FG games and one indigenous all-stars game.
Don't you think it's a bit premature to draw the Dufty comparisons?

You only have look at Jayden
Cambell for the Titans. Smaller than Sloane, but relishes the contact and it shows.
