They should make Terry, Lampard and Cole the managers. They can share the job just like the five captains at LOL@Souffs.

They paid €15 million just to buy out his contract at Porto.....

Plus they would have had to have paid out Ancelotti's contract and then also pay our AVB's contract. Prob close to 25-30 mill all up.

Good luck to who ever comes in. Either they play that fat muppet Frank or he will sulk on the bench.

God knows how a coach that got fired from West Brom is going to get this Chelsea "team" to finally act like one.

heard a Stat that is both annoying and funny.

Since 2005 United net spend on transfers is approx £62mil whereas Romans spend on managers is approx £72mil.

Not sure the figures are exactly right but you get the point.

Stupid club.

Torres and AVB (including buying out, hiring and firing) cost Roman 100 million.

Possibly a contender for the worst 100 million ever spent in Football.

I think I read somewhere that the total cost was around 40 million. Ridiculous.

Carroll (35), Downing (16), Henderson (20), Suarez (24) and Adam (8) would have to be up there.

The only one that has even been close to a success is Suarez but then you think about his record (10 goals in 34 games), inconsistent finishing, diving, whining and that whole racism sideshow and you'd be hard pressed to find any neutral who thinks that was 24+ mill well spent.

Probably still not even close to Torres and AVB if i thought about it though.

What a bunch of bandwagoners. All c**k-a-hoop when your team is winning. Not a peep when they're not.

Fair enough Jason, I'll try to get a bit more discussion going then

Hey Chelsea fans, how good is it to have Thursday nights off?

Thursday football is nice. Nice to play some different teams for a change. Ajax and Bilbao has been alright. I may not of said the same had we got some team in Siberia, but its been alright.

As for your ex manager. AVB didn't have the experience to deal with older players and the egos. The way he handled the Anelka and Alex affair put a lot of noses out. It may of worked if he had the backing of the owner but he didn't.

As for the senior players, they basically acted like babies, not playing for the boss or the team and let the fans down horribly. Why Chelsea fans are willing to except less than 100% i don't know, must be a London thing. Up North no one is bigger than the club.

Now they are bothering to try again you may get one or two good weeks (hopefully one more good game vs City) but they are to far behind, and not that good. When you play teams that are better than Napoli (which you have a few of them to come) you will realise that the best chance you got for a rebuild has just been sacked cause JT and Frank said so.

Chel$ki's problem is their owner and his lack of patience. Instant success can be bought. Sustained susccess requires a long term plan to keep renewing the team, which is quite difficult if you're changing managers as often as your y-fronts.

I understand the cliche that all our supporters are glory hunters. It must be true, because it gets repeated so often.

Yeah, because all the hundreds of thousands of people that only know hot to say variations of "Glory Glory Man United", "Man U till' I die", "Come on you Devils" and "Roooney!" and couldnt nane half the players in the first team aren't bandwagoners at all.
It's not a cliche.

Well we might be playing on Thursday nights next year. However in 2 weeks Barcelona are coming to town. What a turn around from the lads. Stamford Bridge will be rocking in 2 weeks. Lets hope we get a fair ref for the Semi Final. Barca will be massive favourites, however I expect Chelsea to be right up for it. I actually think we can stun them at Stamford Bridge.
