Bertie off to Villa. I expect he'll be gone in the summer but I hope he has a good run to end the season.

Wonder if the Shaw rumours are true.

Southampton are going to get raided by other clubs. Chelsea want Shaw. Man Utd want Lallana. Some clubs want Rodriguez. Also from what i've read Southampton have put a 30 million euro price tag on Shaw.

Btw hearing that Chelsea want Diego Costa. Would be a good signing.

Another solid result. They're lucky Mou didn't start Torres, he would've scored six

Disgraceful stuff from Vidic, rightly punished. Rafael was lucky to get away with an even worse one...

Rafael was a very very lucky boy. He'd have spent a long time on the sideline if he'd connected.

Pretty Complete display from us today. It's a bit of a novelty having the strikers score a few, makes for a nice change.

Torres out for a month. So Eto will have a chance to cement himself.

Says a lot about United when an aging Eto'o rips them to shreds, clearly though the old boy still has it.

The turn of the shoulder and cut back to open up space for the first goal was classic eto. A decent defender would have read it better but United seem short of those at present.

Shaw isn't worth 30 million Euro. He's a class above his peers but I'm not sure he'd cut it at Chelsea just yet, he's still a year or two off that level. I'd much rather the money went to a striker and we give Patrick Van Arnholt the gig.

Diego Costa is a grub. He'd rival Suarez for suspensions if he played in England.

Pretty special that, I shed a tear.

"David, dont push forward get back and defend"

"I can't even get him to stay in position there is no way you could"

First time anyone had ever asked Roman a question

I do enjoy pieces like that, it's good to see that the lads realise there's more to life than kicking a ball around

It's what make sport so special. Seeing the happiness on that kids face as he met each player was great.

Props to Mata, Oscar and Cahill giving him part of their kit from the game.

Big couple of weeks coming up after the bye on Wednesday

Two wins against Citeh would see us as clear favourites for the double. Assuming no replay we'll have a week to recover from the second before facing the Lukaku-less Toffees at home, then it's off to Istanbul

We're pretty well placed in the League - Arsenal and Citeh both still have to play us, a resurgent Spurs, Juan Mata and each other. If we can knock Citeh out of the Cup in February we should be able to rely on our depth to progress and save our top-liners for the Bayerns and Barcelonas...
