Just got back from the game...

I went in a little nervous, mostly because of Walker being at fullback. But I was pleasantly surprised! Safe under the high ball (what little there was). Made the tackles when it counted.

There were a few Warriors fans sitting down in front of us who ended up having a good time and I think they were cheering the Roosters on for more tries, simply because of the cheerleader that was doing backflips after each one, right in front of them.

Now to go and buy my tickets for the Knights game...

We're still having Chook on the hangi Oz- its just tasting a bit sour and bitter at the moment.

It could be worse. I mean, nearly every team had been there, some worse than others - not every team has gone a full season without winning a single game (thank Kryst* I am too young to have experienced that season). In fact, even my eldest son's soccer team had their first victory on the weekend (I was refereeing of course) - I was fairly certain they were going to emulate the 1966 Roosters team.

Anyway, what I'm trying to say is that you have to have a bad season to have a good season - if every season is a good season, then they are all just average, aren't they (that sounds too much like a Chinese proverb).

Its just a pity some lows are lower than others.
