Knights v Storm has been horrendous
Melbourne might steal it, ala last week.Knights v Storm has been horrendous
interesting, media also saying that a big part of Burgess leaving was 'special treatment to some players' - Mitchell and Walker mentioned... got to have the culture rightHeard a story at work yesterday that there was a fight at Souths training between Cam Murray and Latrell- Murray is a Souths junior and busts his arse every week and he’s probably had it with Latrell the blow-in star player acting like he owns the joint. Another spoon could be headed to Redfern soon…
Yeah I think it’s fairly common knowledge now that that was what happened with Burgess.interesting, media also saying that a big part of Burgess leaving was 'special treatment to some players' - Mitchell and Walker mentioned... got to have the culture right
But yeah, Cam Murray is just an awesome 13, the complete forward, if he's frustrated and eventually wants out, he's be an awesome signing for anyone
He's brilliant at times, and a huge talent - but given the sporadic involvement should be at centre, where he is devastating - not in the same league as Teddy and TomThere was a story last year that in a video session Murray lost the plot yelling “where the f**k are you” after footage of a break was shown and Latrell was nowhere to be seen in support
Latrell won’t take a carry in his own half, sums up his attitude to the game
We’ve got the Panthers in magic round but Cleary ought to be back by then… none of the other sides mentioned.Brisbane, Penrith, Melbourne, Parra all missing major guns for a while... ripe pickings for in form, largely injury free, strong sides like the Cowboys to make hay on the ladder for the next while. I reckon the top 12 this year might be quite condensed/competitive, though the cream will rise to the top eventually.
Vegas was considered a success - so they’ll keep going back to the well until the novelty wears off and it stops looking good.So it's 'Vegas' again for round one next year? I'm disappointed with this news. I really thought it would be a one-off promotion.
What are the ties that are binding us here? It has to be the sports betting market. That's such a worry.
Plus, notice Penrith are quick to jump on board, making sure the traditional World Club Challenge doesn't (potentially - they haven't won this year, yet!) get in the way of this far more lucrative prospect.
Pretty sure Vegas is a 5 year deal.
I think you're on the money. It makes sense to give every team or the best teams of the previous season a chance to attend. Penrith has to be there next (I think this has been mentioned). I would also like to see the Warriors showcased in the USA despite the travel and time difference.Pretty sure Vegas is a 5 year deal
I think I saw that Warriors, Storm, Titans, Dolphins and Raiders were the the teams being discussed to fill the other 3 slotsI think you're on the money.
