Heard a story at work yesterday that there was a fight at Souths training between Cam Murray and Latrell- Murray is a Souths junior and busts his arse every week and he’s probably had it with Latrell the blow-in star player acting like he owns the joint. Another spoon could be headed to Redfern soon…

interesting, media also saying that a big part of Burgess leaving was 'special treatment to some players' - Mitchell and Walker mentioned... got to have the culture right

But yeah, Cam Murray is just an awesome 13, the complete forward, if he's frustrated and eventually wants out, he's be an awesome signing for anyone

Yeah I think it’s fairly common knowledge now that that was what happened with Burgess.
Murray would be a great signing for anyone but if he’s the one who is forced out it’ll be a travesty, he’s not the cancer at that club.

There was a story last year that in a video session Murray lost the plot yelling “where the f**k are you” after footage of a break was shown and Latrell was nowhere to be seen in support

Latrell won’t take a carry in his own half, sums up his attitude to the game

He's brilliant at times, and a huge talent - but given the sporadic involvement should be at centre, where he is devastating - not in the same league as Teddy and Tom

The Knights did hold out the Storm but it could've been another Melbourne comeback win, but they blew it this week.

Yes, the big news is Souths. This isn't the nineties or noughties, they expect a lot now. But there they are, last.

Brisbane, Penrith, Melbourne, Parra all missing major guns for a while... ripe pickings for in form, largely injury free, strong sides like the Cowboys to make hay on the ladder for the next while. I reckon the top 12 this year might be quite condensed/competitive, though the cream will rise to the top eventually.

We’ve got the Panthers in magic round but Cleary ought to be back by then… none of the other sides mentioned.
We’ve got the Knights (twice) Rabbitohs, Titans, Dragons and Sea Eagles in the next six weeks though which we really should win 4-5 of if we’re any sort of decent side.

So it's 'Vegas' again for round one next year? I'm disappointed with this news. I really thought it would be a one-off promotion.

What are the ties that are binding us here? It has to be the sports betting market. That's such a worry.

Plus, notice Penrith are quick to jump on board, making sure the traditional World Club Challenge doesn't (potentially - they haven't won this year, yet!) get in the way of this far more lucrative prospect.

Vegas was considered a success - so they’ll keep going back to the well until the novelty wears off and it stops looking good.

Pretty sure Vegas is a 5 year deal
I think you're on the money. It makes sense to give every team or the best teams of the previous season a chance to attend. Penrith has to be there next (I think this has been mentioned). I would also like to see the Warriors showcased in the USA despite the travel and time difference.

I think I saw that Warriors, Storm, Titans, Dolphins and Raiders were the the teams being discussed to fill the other 3 slots

Politis said 10mins after full time that the winners of the games this year should go back lol, and I know Penn is keen to have Manly there again, they’re in talks with the 49ers about buying a bit of the club

You’d think the Raiders would be a perfect fit for the synergy with the Raiders name

1 of my favourite parts of the whole week was watching 360 and seeing the moving billboards behind Buzz and Kent showcasing Escorts for hire. Listening to Willie Masons podcast he said he saw a few journos coming out of interesting establishments

There's no way they're going to rotate the opportunity to take teams to Vegas, extending it to all clubs. Teams like the Titans, Tigers and Dolphins are no chance.
