I reckon Lawrence has a spot in our side however the problem is the money that he is supposedly on.

He isn't worth top dollars at this point.

Lawrence has had more handling errors in his last 8 games this year (17) than he did in all 25 of his games in 2010 (16)

Lawrence and Ashyford have lost their mojo. Or have they just been dwarfed by the huge centres in 2014. Pretty hard to compete unless you look like the Michelan Man in 2014. Just look at Souths. Nearly all bulging out of their jumpers. The athletic centre is dying out of the game.

No bidders champ just $400k+ on the salary cap. Not even Ricky is that desperate to take him

Its his capability defensively that should see him move to the back row

I used to think this but I'm starting to think its a bad option. I don't think he is big enough to play in the backrow. I suppose he would be a fast backrower but I figure why not let him play in the centres and see how he goes with good players around him.

Do you think he would be a big barnstorming backrower ?

I think he would be fast straight running backrower, much Luke Lewis 2-3 years ago.

You need one of those in your pack.

He's also a good defender.

I'll put it to you this way, He'd make the transition to the back row better and a lot faster than Sironen will.

With our lack of options in the centres I think we should stick with him there for the moment. I also think we need a big pack that can belt it up. We still get rolled sometimes in the forwards.

It might work though.

I'm not convinced that Siro has been a failure either. Its hard to judge him when we've been playing so crap.

Siro is a ball player instinctively.

Lawrence plays like a backrower already.

I'd consider Sironen at Centre & Lawrence in the back row, than the other way around.
