Shane Richardson was just on Tens news stating Chris Walker is NOT welcome at the rabbitohs, thank christ
It would suprise me if he was, after he f**ked them over so badly when he defected to the Roosters.

I actually thought Chris Walker was a pretty good player back around 2001 when he was at the Broncos and played for Queensland that year. He was one of Queensland's best strike players along with Lote Tuqiri.. Ok, he could never defend, but he wasn't such a klutz with the ball.. He also seems to have lost a bit of speed since then...

i loved his sterling efforts againts the panthers and dogs in respective grand finals.
did the chooks proud on both those days

but the worst he ever played was a tv game in 03 befor he left souths. it was raining at brookvale and he must have given manly 20 points on his own through poor defence and the 7 penalties or what ever he gave away.

Good on Shane Richardson! If only he was there when the Rabbitohs originally considered signing him

ABOUT TIME!

BYE BYE WALKER.

You lot out Bondi way must be so relieved.... 8)

Absolutely! He was te Bulldogs best player in last years GF!

........and he just edged out Luke Priddis as Penrith's best player in the 2003 GF IMO!

But without him the Roosters wouldn't have been in that grand final -- and that's what people forget.

And you're still a bloody tool that can go and choke on a Stetson Renowned League Fraud.

A "tool"?

Wouldn't it be great if these forums weren't populated by year 10 kids and their idiotic slang?

It's actually considered vulgar slang as against idiotic slang. Idiotic is calling yourself "Renowned League Expert" when it's patently obvious that your knowledge of Rugby League could be written in cuneiform on the back of a postage stamp with room left over for the Holy Bible.

If you had bothered to take notice in your remedial English class last week, you'd know that.

Still, it takes balls for you to come back here whilst the Roosters are the comp's whipping boys. Balls or stupidity.

Kudos if it's balls. But I doubt it.

I'm a Chris Walker fan.
Speed to burn and a pretty good goal kicker.
If there is a team looking for an above average goalkicking winger,
Walker would be their man.
I don't understand all the bagging he's getting here.
I'd prefer Walker to Simmons at the Sharks.

Nah not Covell.
D.Simmons is useless but is the teachers pet.
So highly unlikely Stuey will bid for Walker.

I was pretty impressed with Ben Walker's ironic comeback for Souths. Let's hope he doesn't take after his brother.

No, hang on. The conversation(s) were about average home crowd figures. It was said repeatedly that the Roosters crowds were poor and that they had "no fans". What I pointed out was that, in fact, Penrith had the lowest average home crowd of any club still left in the NRL. I didn't use, say, the last five years, because then people would say, well, Roosters crowds are up only because the team has been winning. So what I did was use the average crowd figure since figures were first recorded in 1957, all the way up the present. What this revealed was that Penrith had the lowest average of any club. Nothing wrong with that; it's just the way it is. Someone has to come last.

Sorry about the confusion!

No you hang on for a minute there Renowned League Fraud, and take a look at what you posted here recently.......

You were claiming that the Panthers are the most poorly supported team in the NRL . Present tense. You were trying to state a false fact. Try telling 17/18000+ at Penrith home games that their team is poorly supported.

And why do you feel the need to have to back to 1967 figures to try and back your false claim? Did you even consider that Penrith was only a young area that had only begun to grow in population over the last 30 - 40 years. Why don't you go and look up a comparison of population between Penrith and the eastern suburbs from 1967 onwards?

Face it League Fraud. Your credibility has been shot to pieces. The only way you'll ever regain it, is when you swallow that Stetson that you promised to consume if Penrith didn't make the Top 8 in 2004.

You said that these forums would be great if it weren't populated by ten year olds. Do us a favour then League Fraud and listen to your own advice and  off!!! You've got nothing.

For the very reason that I have outlined several. I mean, it's getting embarrassing that I have to keep repeating these things. Once more: I used a large sample of crowds because if I'd used, say, this years crowds, or even crowd figures from the last five years, you (and others) would have immediately said that Roosters crowds are up only because they have been successful in that time period. So to counter that argument, I used a large sample. There is no other way. You either use current figures, recent figures or all figures.

Yes, 17,000-18000 over the last few years. But if I were to use that figure for the *Roosters* over the last few years, you'd reject it instantly as being not indicative of overall support -- which indeed it isn't. Same applies to Penrith.

But you can't have it both ways, kids.

It isn't a "false claim". Penrith *does* have the lowest average home crowd in that time period. To say that "Penrith is the most poorly supported team in the NRL" does not imply present tense at all. I didn't specify the tense. Since I've specified it ad nauseum in the past, I didn't feel it was necessary to then go ahead and specify it one more time.

Now run along ... surely you must have some homework to do?

And where is your proof that Penrith has the lowest average home crowds? It's a false claim, because you've got nothing to back it up. And I noticed that you haven't addressed the issues of population comparisons during that time period. Surely a self-professed "expert  " as yourself can utilise that sort of information to back up your claims. You want to prove all this, then use evidence pal.

Yes you go on ad nauseum, yet when asked for the proof, you seem to disappear. You're the embarrassment here League Fraud, because you claim all this tripe, yet there's no evidence to support it.

And how about that Stetson eh League Fraud? I see you've conveniently sidestepped that issue. How about you give us all a good show and show us how it's done.
