It's always a sad occasion when a player from the team you support is cut adrift. Chris hasn't covered himself in glory this season. But I won't forget his contributions to the Roosters over the last three seasons. He scored a lot of tries for us, including two slashing efforts in the grand final qualifier against Canterbury in 2003, to help get us into the grand final.

For all his lapses, he gave me plenty to cheer about since he's been at the club.

We all enjoy seeing Walker play....mostly because he is a walking disaster.


It weird though, I mean, think back to when he first burst onto the scene with the Broncos. He WAS a very dangerous player. Not much in defence...but he was a great attacking weapon.

The problem is these days.....he makes 38 mistakes for every good thing he does on the field.

Before he left the Broncos Walker was actually very good. He was briliant in attack, ok in defense, nothing flash, but he could be covered in defense without too much trouble. Now he is patchy in attack and his defense has taken such a downward spiral that he could have 12 David Stagg's on the field with him and still not be able to cover him.

And don't get me started on how much of an idiot this guy is off the field.
