The only time I have ever seen Les Boyd back away from a blue when Tommy shaped up to him. Broadhurst with 2 massive shiners.

You know what started it? Had to be Gus...........

Knights vs Sea Eagles Week 1 2006 was a good'un. Don't have a clever name for it though, maybe "Joey's Final Seage". Although that will go over the heads of most non-Knights fans.

Our reward for winning that match was playing the Broncos at Suncorp :?. I think the new finals system is definitely better.

Also surprised no mention yet of "Manu Magic" - Warriors v Melbourne 2008. One of the great finals boilovers.

EDIT: beaten to it.

That knights/broncos clash was played at the sfs .

93 Prelim Final, Brisbane vs Canterbury was also a good one. A very close match and the Broncos got home on the back of Alan Cann's famous "somebody stop him he'll run out of the stadium" try.

Warriors Tigers 2011 was for mine, the sweetest victory in our history.
Disgusting referring that we were able to overcome.
How there wasn't an investigation into that game I will never know.

The 1972 final between the Sea Eagles and Roosters at the SCG. My first ever first grade finals match as a spectator. Manly romped home 32-8. Beetson got cut in half by a Randall special and took an eternity to get off his arse.

The crowd was quiet so I yelled out at the top of my 13 year old voice "Beetson....get off ya bum....we can't see the field". The old man replied "f**kin' shut up!" He was a Roosters supporter.

Sept 10 / 11 1994 was the best weekend of finals ever IMO

Broncos vs Bears
Raiders vs Dogs

But my fav game as already mentioned was the 20-6 down at halftime comeback of the Broncos vs Dogs in 2006.

the "Benji Blew it Brace" 2010 v Saints kicked out on the full - Soward kicks winning field goal next set - 2011 v Warriors - run it on the last. Warriors score winning try next set.

You'll be missed Benji.

By opposition teams in big games.

Actually the 2011 one is Robbies fault. He ran from dummy half and Benji had to run.

The game against the Broncos was at Allianz Stadium mate. Went to the game and watched us get flogged something like 50 - 6 or something :(

Whoops my mistake. Yeah we paid a high price for winning that Manly game, losing Buderus and Simpson for the following week in the process. Apart from those two our forward pack was mostly garbage, especially considering we were a top four team.

I remember the refereeing in that game, it was absolutely farcical. I can only assume more wasn't made of it because the Warriors managed to overcome it like you say. If the Cowboys think they got dudded they should watch a replay of that game.

All I remember is Luke Quigley running out at hooker and thinking Oh god we're doomed hahaha and Kurt Gidley scoring with like 2 or 3 mins to go.

Conspiracy theory.

That Warriors/Raiders game was a belter, as was the 2011 gave vs Storm. Though "Meli's famous 5" was probably the best day to be a Warriors supporter, the Dogs thought they had us covered, but Meli, Toopi and Faumuina hit them like a tidal wave.

Warriors are at their best when they play like that.

The Wests v Easts extra time game when Woods flattened JWH was a belter too.

2010 Raiders vs Tigers - Croker the choker

He missed the simple penalty kick at the end of the game which would have put the game into extra time.

Warriors v Canberra 2003 was probably my favourite. Worthy of a grand final if the gf that gear wasn't even better.
