Clean Out Needed

As a Tigers fan who watched him develop Achurch is a backrower in terms of natural ability. He played there right through until he went to Wests last year in the NSW Cup.

I am a fan of him from way back when he played NYC for you guys. Even when Grant comes back he should stay in place of Ciraldo. The only player Ciraldo should be infront of is Galea

Apparently the cleanout is on. Austin to 6 is a gus decision. Burns, Kingston are being shopped around. Good stuff! Even if we sign no one we can re-sign the 20's and keep room for quality when it comes up.

Why would we be shopping Burns around? He has been great and can play at hooker, lock or as the utility. Walsh is the bloke who only covers one position and doesn't do so at remotely close to a first grade standard most weeks.

Burns has been among our best players each week and while he isn't the best playmaker, he certainly offers the team alot and deserves to be in the 17 somewhere. Not too fussed about trying to offload Kingston though... Burns could do a better job in the #9 IMO.

Well I guess its up to Burns to impress at hooker and earn a place in the team. He's not a 5/8 and everyone knows it. I like the blokes heart but he doesn't really have a passing or kicking game at all.

Agreed

I'm really happy to hear that Austin will be given a good crack at the #6 jersey, he is the future and I think his running and passing game will take plenty of pressure off Walsh.

I'd like to see Burns at hooker, I think he can do the job and he adds so much to the attitude of the team when he's on the paddock.

Any news about changes to our backline?

How bad is Jenko's injury?

I never understood why austin was switched to the backrow in the first place.he played all his junior footy at 5/8 and was developing well in that position. As for burns he puts more effort in than several others and has to be in the team.A great decission by gus

Exactly. Both Burns & Kingston are on overs. 1 needs to go. Burns has 6 weeks impress at 9. Lets see how he goes the fact we are looking is good. We need to change.

Siejka tonight proved why Burns should never play in the halves again & why Walsh was resigned too soon. While I don't blame Walsh entirely for our problems we need results or heads will roll. Usually the halves go 1st. Atleast before the winger that is hurting us by playing.

We let waterhouse go for newton and ciraldo.....one of him is easliy worth those 2.

Simmons.....My prediction was he would cost us games and sadly correct.

Austin to 5/8 is good....but its now our back row thats ( except lewis of course) shocking...

smart recruitment is now needed as well as the right player retention....never easy but we always seem to get it very wrong.

Always liked tia kilifi on the wing in the 20s....maybe when he's right get him back there.

We let Waterhouse go because he was becoming freaking useless. Blind freddy could see that. He also wanted $350k a year. f**k that. We got 4 players for that and were able to re-sign Blake Austin.

And secondly. Seijka looked awesome tonight....against other Under 20's...lets not go overboard here.

Of course. He needs to do that for Windsor before playing 1st grade. He certainly will be ready before Burns comes off contract at the end of next year or the end of 2014 when Walsh comes off contract. That's what I mean't. Sure Burns/Walsh could play for Windsor but that takes a development place from someone else.

Austin should be 6 until the end of the season. He should be with Moylan in Windsor for now. Certainly not behind Mundine, Taumata & Shane Croft as has happened this season.

In that case...yeah i agree. Next year is the go-to year for Harry.

Needs to totally develop his game this year ready for the step up permanent next year.

No can't agree. We aren't making the finals this year and Harry is already better then Walsh. I think it's time to put him in first grade.

Cleary won't jump NSW Cup. We don't have a good team sadly no 1/2 can help. He can go & get confidence & come up after dominating fringe FG's for Windsor.

It's like when Ivan was at the Warriors. It was clear 2 years ago Johnson was better then all in front of him. He played a year in NSW Cup & hasn't looked back. Same with Cherry-Evans. Won the QLD Cup player of the year & now a test player.

Siejka should be in our 1/2's I reckon he'd be a great 6 with his running game. This year Moylan is 2nd in NSW Cup player of the year. So should be next to get a go.

How would Moylan go in the number 9 jumper?

He'd go alright. I'd pick him on the bench & go from there. We have Austin to move to the pack if we want him in the 1/2's. Or try him at hooker. As long as we keep Walsh & Coote settled we will have a good kicking game & can try to find some attack elsewhere.

FMD.

Moylan has already moved from five-eight to fullback to halfback.

How about we just keep moving players everywhere and then if we are lucky we'll really cripple their development so they'll never realise their potential.

Harry isn't already better than Walsh.

Statements like this piss me off.

Harry looked very ordinary when he played in NSW Cup so how the hell is he better than Walsh right NOW.

Seijka would get destroyed playing behind a pack that includes Galea and Ciraldo playing bloody prop at stages.

Let Seijka develop and dominate under 20's. Then put him in NSW Cup for the last 7-8 games. Then as our roster develops and becomes deeper and better next year give him the reigns.

Putting him in now risks his development and health.

Sorry Mick but we aren't going to agree on this I don't think. Walsh is horrible I have had enough. I know our forwards aren't doing shit but even in a team where your getting flogged by 30 a half talented halfback would still make a few plays.
Anyone can look good when you play a hopeless team like parra and a playmaker has time to do whatever he wants.
I think your settling for far too less like all the fools on PI.
I KNOW we can never be a team like the broncos and make the finals every year but this is bullshit

The problem is he is just too good where he plays. He played in the halves last week & got motm.

Today at fullback MOTM. Coote's 22. Austin 21. Siejka 20. So unless we move Austin the only spot is hooker.
