Yeah, time to leave dimitri alone now. I for one am growing tired of this hole he's dug himself into. I'm over the poor fellow.

Black-Tip, some very good points there. But I think to say that the Dragons are eighteen months ahead of us is a slight exageration. We dug into the player market very well during the off-season and have the players to make combinations work.

The scoreline was probably flattering to the visitors, and certainly didn't reflect our effort, but moreso our ability to work together as a squad.

Perhaps we have placed too much time on changing the nature of our offense we need to step back and worry about our defense...?

I don't agree.
I remember just playing touch footy with mates & seeing how it translated into their "real game" idiosyncrasies. I'm not just talking about game time together, I'm talking about training time which can be just as important.
I thought 18 months was conservative.
& I'm not that overly disappointed in the defense.(peach not included)
As i said, defensive strategy takes a long time & even the Pennys didn't get it truly right until the last game last year.
Just little things that when fixed, will all of a sudden turn this mob into something very good.

The Queens are only 2 things in front of us.
1. 4 competition points.
2. $500k in salary cap. Take that how you wish but we arent making the most of ours and they are doing very well with theirs.
Upgrading Head and his mates contract will stop the Queens dead.
Thommo cant take pay cuts forever.
