I gave valid reasons why I think there are too many emails. I work for a member-based organisation and i am aware of the problems of trying to engage them. If you want to disgree with my points then go right ahead. But you can't, because you're clueless.
What dribble. For some time now there have been complaints about not enough communication from the club. Now, when a few emails a week come into your inbox it's too many? FFS, you're a dead set pillock. If you don't want the emails, don't bloody subscribe to them and let everyone else who wants them, get them.
As valid as B-tron's complaint may be in his eyes, I wouldn't get myself so worked up about it if I was you.
It is but just one complaint.
Hi Suity,
first, if you read my original post you'll notice that I give reasons for my post and even a simple concept regarding balance (that would need to be properly thought out by those who work there) as to what they need to do to improve the impact of their communication. My post was hardly just a whinge or complaint.
Second, I may be the only person who has posted here but I'm not the only one who thinks this. You've got to remember that the people on here are generally the most engaged anyway, and the borderline or possible bandwagon fans aren't on here.
One of the other problems about a member organisation is finding out exactly who is reading and caring about the communication they receive, because those that don't read it are normally disengaged enough that they don't raise their concerns, ideas etc.
And yet another thing about member organisations is that any idea/complaint/suggestions etc is valid. That doesn't mean that you can make everyone happy, but the idea is that you listen to the members and react accordingly. And if one person out of the handful on here think that there are now too many emails, then how many out there might think that and have stopped reading them?
Just food for thought for those on here that have connections.
Anyway, it's been two days since the game and I haven't received anything yet. That's more like it as a two day wait while the Hayne hype dies down is a good idea, then send out the next email just as the hype is dying a bit and people are beginning to crave more.

I just received a letter signed by both Ozzie & Todd Greenberg. I'd scan and post a copy only I'm not allowed. :-#
The Parramatta Bulldogs is a reality ?
The Parramatta Bulldogs is a reality ?
I am signed up to every possible NRL club's mailing list and we do NOT get too many emails.
Sign up to the Roosters or Cronulla if you want to be bombed
I thought it was only emails that we can't post ;-)Love to share but I can't.
Good on ya B-Tron.
I may not agree with your opinion, but I for one am not going to slam you for having an opinion and expressing it, or try to belittle one for having one that I don't agree with.
You've even bothered to put in a context which those who have trouble thinking past one sentence are unfortunately bound to ignore.
I doubt it was a personal letter;-)I thought it was only emails that we can't post ;-)
I doubt it was a personal letter;-)
probably true, but i read the word "complaint" and figured I'd reply to you as I was more likely to get a sensible response. No worries B-Tron.
I think you'll find that I actually validated your concerns.
My post was directed to Mickdo, not you.
I think your sensible and well reasoned reply should have been directed back at him.
