Exactly, and it still mean the same to me, wgaf

Back to the actual jerseys for next year, Manly's Toyota Cup side will be wearing the reverse of that new away strip. Should look interesting

I like the fact clubs are going more modern with jerseys. I'm a really big fan of both the Manly and Melbourne away strips, not that there is that much difference other then colours haha .

As a Manly fan, I like the balance between the older fashioned home jersey and the new alternate strip.

So would most teams be having a different jersey for the Toyota Cup teams? Or will most just be wearing the same as whatever the 1st grade team is wearing that day?

2008 Kit Sponsors and New Jerseys
21/12/2007
By Manly Sea Eagles

The Sea Eagles would like to take this opportunity to welcome our Kit Sponsors for 2008.

Front of Jersey and Major Sponsor – Delmege Commercial
Sleeve Sponsor – Mack Trucks
Top of Back of Jersey – Penn Health
Bottom of Back of Jersey – Viva Macau
Shorts Sponsor – Reed Constructions
Apparel Sponsor – Reebok
The Sea Eagles are very excited with the announcement of these new partnerships and the continuation of existing sponsorships in what will be very positive relationships for all parties concerned.

We would like to thank our 6 on kit sponsors for their valued commitment and we all look forward to a great season on and off the park in 2008.

Retail Jerseys:
We will be taking pre-orders for 2008 Jerseys from January 7th with delivery expected in late February - early March.

Anyone else think theres a hint of irony in the new sleeve sponsors given the Eagles forwards played like powderpuffs in the GF?

potential titans retro round jersey. Has the basic seagulls patterns but in the titans colours.

seeing as it's meant to be retro why not just have the old red white and black seagulls strip with the titans badging? Probably make more sense.

Yeah, seeing as newcastle are wearing red and white bands to represent the first Newcastle side, that Gold Coast jersey is puzzling. Even moreso that they don't go with a Giants replica.

Away jersey is ordionary.

Home jersey needs more gold IMO.
Normally I would agree with you whole-heartedly, but having seen the jerseys myself (I was at their launch a few weekends ago), they do look really impressive in the flesh (so to speak).

There was never a source posted for that GC one... it's from News Ltd though so maybe it was on the Courier Mail or GC Bulletin?
