Coaching Director needed

Seeing that the club has ddecied Flanagan will be around another 2 years, the club needs to sign a coaching director.

In our 4 previous coaches we had Anderson & Stuart who got people offside at the club for various reasons, the one thing they had in common though was attitude of trying to win at all costs, plus both came to the club as premership winners.

We had Raper who Flanagan is falling into same trap, given a go at the club without having coached FG elsewhere Raper did do some time in England.

For Flanagan he needs a coaching director someone to oversee what he is doing and actually give him guidance point out where he is going wrong, but also there to praise when things do work out.

We have seen that in the AFL essendon do this bringing in Bomber Thompson as coaching directo so Lloyd can get assistance.

For Flanagan we need some one like a Michael Hagan to come in to assist Flanagan in getting the little things right, espically since we need to sign a assistant coach as well.

I'm not saying sign Hagan but do bring in a experienced coach as coaching director to give Flanagan guidance

Look I aint no AFL fan but one of my best mates is, and a Bombers fan to boot (I hear about them a lot) James Hird is the Bombers coach. Not hard to find that out.

Hagan???? Aren't you one of the major Ricky Stuart knockers? Most of your type credit Fitler/Gould for the premiership Stuart coached. Any sane person knows that without one Andrew Johns the Knights would not have got anywhere near that GF, let alone win it.

The wonders of the brain never cease to amaze.

Well we know for a fact that Redders would have the full backing of the Shark LU Forum Board.

I say go for it.

Sheeze once the opposition finds out we have Redders onboard they will sh!t. Players will flock to our club. Player Managers will be telling their lads to break their contracts and get with us.

I can see it now.

What he said!
The next year Johns broke his leg and the knights won the spoon.

Hagan???!! FMD!

Why would we spend money - which we have none of - to have a bloke who knows the game watching over Flanno. Just pay the top bloke and give Flanno a map to the nearest centrelink.

And tell him to take his mate Pom with him.

f**k no.

But the idea of a coaching director/advisor has crossed my mind before... perhaps someone who understands development and what works at the Sharks...

What's Johnny Lang got planned for next year?

Or is he too out of date?

I would like to know who the attack coach at the Broncos was last year- was Henjak looking after it? Because if so, we could do worse than to bring him on as an assistant. The Broncos of 2010 didn't defend as well as this year but by jeez they could attack.

Firstly it was for Hird and secondly he moved for a) money and b) because he has been at the same club for yonks and thought their time of success with Ablett leaving was up.

I disagree

History has taught us the dangers of euthanasia and that is why there are only two countries in the world today where it is legal. That is why almost all societies - even non-religious ones - for thousands of years have made euthanasia a crime. It is remarkable that euthanasia advocates today think they know better than the billions of people throughout history who have outlawed euthanasia - what makes the 50 year old euthanasia supporters in 2005 so wise that they think they can discard the accumulated wisdom of almost all societies of all time and open the door to the killing of innocent people? Have things changed? If they have, they are changes that should logically reduce the call for euthanasia - pain control medicines and procedure are far better than they have ever been any time in history.

Furthermore, cloning debate attracts quite passionate objections from people.
Just because we can, does it mean we should? A very large percentage of cloning efforts end in failure. For example, it took 277 attempts to clone Dolly the sheep. Clones that do survive often have fatal or problem causing issues in their genes. Cloning will create a black market for stolen or discarded embryos. Cloning will stop genetic improvements to a species. This is because genetic improvements usually occur through sexual reproduction, which result in a mixing of the genes of the mother and father. If we try to clone endangered species, then we will put at risk the females of that species.

Additionally, satellite readings of temperatures in the lower troposphere (an area scientists predict would immediately reflect any global warming) show no warming since readings began 23 years ago. These readings are accurate to within 0.01ºC, and are consistent with data from weather balloons. Only land-based temperature stations show a warming trend, and these stations do not cover the entire globe, are often contaminated by heat generated by nearby urban development, and are subject to human error.

Then, A little steam engine had a long train of cars to pull.

She went along very well till she came to a steep hill. But then, no matter how hard she tried, she could not move the long train of cars.

She pulled and she pulled. She puffed and she puffed. She backed and started off again. Choo! Choo!

But no! the cars would not go up the hill.

At last she left the train and started up the track alone. Do you think she had stopped working? No, indeed! She was going for help.

"Surely I can find someone to help me," she thought.

Over the hill and up the track went the little steam engine. Choo, choo! Choo, choo! Choo, choo! Choo!

Pretty soon she saw a big steam engine standing on a side track. He looked very big and strong. Running alongside, she looked up and said:

"Will you help me over the hill with my train of cars? It is so long and heavy I can't get it over."

The big steam engine looked down at the little steam engine. The he said:

"Don't you see that I am through my day's work? I have been rubbed and scoured ready for my next run. No, I cannot help you,"

The little steam engine was sorry, but she went on, Choo, choo! Choo, choo! Choo, choo! Choo, choo!

Soon she came to a second big steam engine standing on a side track. He was puffing and puffing, as if he were tired.

"That big steam engine may help me," thought the little steam engine. She ran alongside and asked:

"Will you help me bring my train of cars over the hill? It is so long and so heavy that I can't get it over."

The second big steam engine answered:

"I have just come in from a long, long run. Don't you see how tired I am? Can't you get some other engine to help you this time?

"I'll try," said the little steam engine, and off she went. Choo, choo! Choo, choo! Choo, choo!

After a while she came to a little steam engine just like herself. She ran alongside and said:

"Will you help me over the hill with my train of cars? It is so long and so heavy that I can't get it over."

"Yes, indeed!" said this little steam engine. "I'll be glad to help you, if I can."

So the little steam engines started back to where the train of cars had been standing. Both little steam engines went to the head of the train, one behind the other.

Puff, puff! Chug, choo! Off they started!

Slowly the cars began to move. Slowly they climbed the steep hill. As they climbed, each little steam engine began to sing:

"I-think-I-can! I-think-I-can! I-think-I-can! I-think-I-can! I-think-I-can! I-think-I-can! I think I can - I think I can - I think I can I think I can--"

And they did! Very soon they were over the hill and going down the other side.

Now they were on the plain again; and the little steam engine could pull her train herself. So she thanked the little engine who had come to help her, and said good-by.

And she went merrily on her way, singing:

"I-thought-I-could! I-thought-I-could! I-thought-I-could! I-thought-I-could! I thought i could - I thought I could - I thought I could - I thought I could - I thought I could - I thought I could I thought I could --"
