Agree, hopefully can do some sort of course at Wollongong University and they can employ him, same way as Wests Tigers still have Simon Dwyer working for them and how Alex McKinnon was employed by the Knights.

If you keep reading the article it mentions that Luke Patten is “Manager” of the match review committee. No wonder there’s inconsistency in decisions- the poor merkin can only see out of one eye.

From memory he was doing a plumbing apprenticeship (with his uncle?) as he was coming through the grades. Maybe a small business style course would be helpful assuming he wants or is able to continue on the plumbing path

Presuming Cody is in a position to return next year, how is that going to work. Can't see anyone coming for this year only and the new players contract has to be worked into next years cap.

was commenting in JA, I dont think Turner counts as we already bought him, so we have to get another.. perhaps we could upgrade Lobb and save some dollars.. but I suspect there are conditions that mean 'use it or lose it'.

So my suggestion is we buy a young goal-kicking Winger, go!

Solid utility, and if it works out, hopefully no need to even consider extending Mbye.

Was just posting about this in JA, he's the guy we went after at the start of the season... then Avarillo, they declined and we ended up with Turner who we got stuck with.. But I'm sure Blake will be keen to move on now....

I think Taffe is an immense talent, but I dont think we could sign him unless we had a 1st grade jersey on offer, and who is going to give way from our 1thru7? I think Taffe is an absolute gun fullback (not far behind Lattrell tbh) and probably also a ripping 5/8 or Ctr, but Sloane has bought himself time @1, and the 6&7 we have Sullivan and Amone to squeeze in.. it leaves the centres..

So I dont think we will get him.. I think itll end up being a winger.. and we will also need to fit them into the 2024 cap, until we figure out whats happening with Cody.

End of the day though we need to sign that 2024 coach asap tbh.. if we want to make any serious purchases.

Just wondering if anyone on the forum knew how Cody was going health wise..? hadn’t heard too much lately…
