try a decent espresso before you write off short blacks, very hard to find decent shots
most places will taste like ass because they mainly make capps and flat whites etc
ill grab a Macchiato if i dont know what coffee is like.
my coffee snobbery is getting to ridiculous levels,i hand grind my beans fresh use filtered water etc
for under $50 you can get everything you need to make great coffee at home( grinder, stovetop) at victora's basement
with a small hiking stove you could even take it up a rockface and have awesome coffee at the top of a cliff

but the bean is king, try Campos or Toby's estate even a small little boutique places

Sorry, I look to evidence based research before consuming things that have a direct effect on my nervous system.
So your evidence-based research concludes that coffee is good for you? And outweighs any negative effects?

How interesting.

Caffeine is like milk in that the medical world is polarised in relation too.

The most recent research is leaning towards caffeine in reasonable having really positive effects on metabolism and the central nervous system. Unfortunately nutrition guidelines that the government and government health organisations subscribe to are always fairly behind. I mean look at our food pyramids.

Does anyone else think its a strange decision to randomly begin drinking coffee by just throwing double shot espressos down their neck and complaining it tastes bad. How about developing your palette with espresso based milk coffees like lattes

I straight away got into espressos, I like them, I usually make them at home though. The double shot at the cafe tasted weird.

Not sure of it's name. They were using a Vittoria coffee beans though. They grinded them fresh which was promising.

I have noticed I like the taste of freshly ground coffee beans best. I like eating coffee beans as they are too
