Off-contract at Hull this year. He's been the best finisher in the ESL, consistently topping the league tryscoring charts and is highly rated by Raper. At least he tackles better than anyone we've got now and has genuine speed.

What you say SS may have been true but in the ESL he has got his confidence back and has been Hull's best back for the last two seasons.

I think he would be a good buy. He has semi final experience, speed, can break the line, and had a nice offload.

He always struggled defensively at centre in my opinion, but he is a better option than McGoldrick..

Depends. He'd want to much more then he would be worth to the team IMO

I'd take him back but it depends how much he wants..

I doubt it would happen, but can't see anything wrong with it if he did come back.

good size and speed, can finish as tama says, local junior. compared to seers he is a fantastic potential purchase so yea, like mcsharkie says, why not ?

We do seem to have short memories. Best was at times diabolical with missed tackles and general stuff ups and yet at other times showed flashes of brilliance. He has probably matured and toughened up in the UK and if he comes at a reasonable cost I think he might just be worth a gamble.

Youngquest on the other hand was never ready for 1st grade and in my humble opinion was thrown to the wolves. He needed more time to develop.

I know a lot of people say if they aren't ready for 1st grade at 18 they never will be. George Peponis didn't play 1st grade until he was 22 and look where he got to. Some kids are ready very young and others need more time to mature.
