In case you haven't noticed, Rusty and PHac have spent the best part of the last year strengthening the bond between South Sydney football team and the South Sydney area and the plans are in place for this to continue for many years to come.
Souths Cares is a primary example of the League's Club getting involved in the local community. We have also employed guys like Anthony Mundine and David Peachy to work with the indigenous community in the South Sydney area and strengthen the bond between the team and the local area. What have the Roosters done in the last 10 years to help or support the Eastern Suburbs? The answer is absolutely nothing! Reason being that they are bleeding the area dry before they dissappear up the coast and begin mooching from a new stomping ground. Our owners have shown that money is not the driving factor behind our team but Politis has shown nothing but the opposite at the Roosters.
