I like Alexander, his commentary is excellent.

I'll bet he was just following company orders.

They didn't want people to switch off with the Warriors leading 14-0.

I was pissed off too, but I can understand why he/they did it.

Gould (though probably better on shows rather then games) Sterlo, Vossy are all good.

I think Rabs is starting to lose it, his rants are getting longer and more pointless then ever. Still no one can make a game exciting like he can.

IMO Ikin has really improved of late, he used to annoy me but now seems to be one of the least biased.. could be the beer on Fridays nights though.

I don't mind the lead commentators on fox, but I can't stand any of the special comments guys... and Sky coverage, that is just biased dribble.

He wasn't promoting a game, he was more or less telling you the scores were very close, which ruled you out of contention if, like Ribs, you'd taken a wide margin option.

Plenty of people give a sh!t about gambling. If the crowd figures matched the betting interest in NRL, every ground, including the toilet bowl, would be full to overflowing. You may be some sort of non-betting wowser, but as far as NRL supporters go, I think you'd find yourself very much in the minority.

i just wish that fox would broadcast more LIVE & ACTIVE games
i actually prefer switching the audio to the Ref
you follow the game better and pick up on alot more minor things that i used to blow up about
ie.having a player called offside but on the ref audio you clearly hear him calling him out before he makes the tackle

The only ones I prefer at Ch 9 are Sterlo, Vossy, Rabs and Gould on occassions.

At Fox I like Warren Smith, Greg Alexander, Gary Belcher, Scott Sattler and Matt Thompson. Andy Raymond used to annoy me atm he's not too bad.

Mark O'Neill and Stuart Raper I dont mind, but are fairly new to commentary.

Brett Hodgson's not bad when he's on the Footy Show and sometimes NRL teams, I wouldnt mind seeing him in the media when he retires.

A few things about them i dont like. The worst is the fact they regard a Waratards game more interesting and a better rating program than League on a Saturday night (yes i realise 2GB treat our game a thousand times worse). Its a real bugbear to me.

Sometimes they just bore me sh!tless. Morrow's fake laugh when Ryan cracks a "funny" pees me orf too
