Fin, who has Sticky got to make changes with?

  • Get rid of Noddy (noddy-bash #1000000...) - he stifles our attack. Seymour at least looks dangerous some of the time by taking it to the line and ball playing a bit. All Noddy's passes to runners are telegraphed and early. And that's not mentioning his insideballitis. Another case in point, Noddy's ineffectual bombs that are easily swallowed up by the fullback. Seymour's first one for the night nearly brings rain and a drop ball.
  • Drop Simmo or one of the wingers and bring in one of the kids with pace from NYC. What have we got to lose? The same 1 or 2 attacking plays we use are now easily being read by the opposition.

I think Gould said it best tonight and it is something i touched on a few months ago, we look alot better when we just try to pass the ball around a bit and spread then trying to do all these set plays. When we finally threw it around late in the 2nd half we looked ok.

haha, actually he'll likely be calling us in a months time when we play his beloved roosters, on friday night.

That should make for an interesting call. And of course by interesting I mean make you want to cut your ears off.

Two weeks in a row now the commentators have called Seymour's spiral bombs, the biggest kicks they have ever seen, they are MASSIVE!
Seymour with good service and time to assess the situation looks dangerous. If Kimmorley has to be out there then his job should be to take the third hit up, that way he is out of the f*cken way for the next two tackles.

Drop Simmo

As much as I think Paris the Rex Hunt is a brick wall (rather than a handbrake) I think he was one of the better ones out there - first time he hasn't stopped before he got to the line - and yes, a decent first grader this does not make him, bit he was respectable tonight.

I like your positive slant Surely. Still, we were pretty woeful. Not much in attack in my opinion and a bit too predictable on the last. Still, its not time to slit the wrists. Not by a long shot.

Think tank and brain storm !

Forget the referee - we are stuck with those imbeciles like it or not.

Correct me if I am wrong but the only time we looked like breaking the defence through our backs last night was when our best back Gallen, stopped being our best forward Gallen, and was running wide and slipping the ball.

Me meself think it is about time that the backs themselves started to step up and give us some results for the money they get paid.

Anyone here thinks that Paris is going to win us a comp is in dreamland.

The handbrake is going ------- Yesssssssssssss !!!

But I don't care how many great hardworking forwards we have in the stable, we ain't gunna win nuffin if we have not got anyone that can put some icing on the cake.

I like Pom. Buttttt. He should be in the wide open spaces more often. Paris is an ongoing imposter who tackles like the Nodster lately. Runs in like Robbie the robot waving his arms and ends up flat on his arse. Especially early in the games.

I don't know the answer but until we get a beg mean mother in the backline that can get us across the line at least 30% of the time we hit inside the opposing 22 then it will be the same old same old.

Cheers

I thought Simmo was one of our better on field last night, seemed to have a bit of fire in his belly for once. Misi is an enigma, one minute he's good, the next he is having a shocker.

I think that Sticky would love to have a new right centre and push Simmons to Misi's wing. The problem is that we don't have anyone capable of playing right centre any better than Simmo right now. I presume that he would have expected Filiga to take that spot by this time in the season but due to poor form and injury this hasn't happened. With the Cobras and 20's getting belted it is hard to justify bringing one of them up right now.

It is a tough call because right now we just don't have the cattle to treaten. I am hoping that we find another gear in attack but have the scary feeling that there isn't much more up the sleeve. Hope not.
